Well i have godskitchen 60 mins by train, as well as peach, and heaven in london. Also got frisky about 30 mins by car.

Nothing good really close, but we get a lot of the big festivals fairly close as well

I've got to go up to DC. It takes a little over an hour by car, but since I don't have one, I just have to get lucky and find someone else headed up that way. In other words, it's a pain - stupid Fredericksburg.

I live in NYC, so most clubs are an hour train ride or less if you go by car.

Got the (New)Casino, Tresor and the Arena here (35min by car) and the Columbia Hall(e) is 20 mins away.

Some other clubs are here too but aren't playing trance, electronic ...

tons of little clubs here on my side.
two mediocre ones, Atmoz (10minutes) and Cocoon (5 minutes)
There are a lot of small clubs here to party, 500 people capacity or so. Only one has progressive

I live 2-3 hours from Glow and Buzz, and it's worth the drive to see anyone. I live in Philly, and it's not very know for it's Trance scene, but oh well.

We did have George Acosta last Sat destroy everyone that came out to see him. I am freakin still hurting from dancing my ass off all night long until 6:20 when he closed out. OMFG!!!!

NYC train ride away. Not to bad being in the middle.

LOL. Thats cause there is no Trance scene. Unless you want to go listen to DJ Sammy and Alice DJ on sundays at Shampoo, which is a 17+ night. Not only bad music, but annoying kiddies also.

Evolution was cool when Mike Myers and Rob Lee were still there.

True Shampoo-poo is lame ass hell, but George Acosta made that night. He could of played at the Cave and it would of still been off the freakin hook!

I've been having this big discussion about the local attitude of Philly. Yes, it true that the music here sucks worse then having a party in Amish country. My main concern about it all is that, why do people insist on being this super, old school, alpha raver/party-er?

Have this great "It was better in the days" mentality.

If you are sitting in Philly and can't stand that fact that there is no great place to go and listen to great music. Then get yourself OUT of the house, go to a record shop and notice that talents like Max Grahm, Sander Kleinenberg, Kimball Collins, and few others jave JUST been in the city. Infact Kimball Collins plays this Friday!

Sorry to rent, but you caught me at a time where people's objections without cause just makes me want to vent.
