Best/Worst Hallucination Stories

I dont remember exactly what happened, but my best friend always tells ppl we hang out with the time I drove us home in the snow storm after eating a pill. Apparently, he claims that while i was driving, i had one hand on the steering wheel, and one hand up protecting my face cuz i thought the snowflakes were gonna fly through the windshield and hit me

A buddy of mine tackled his mom because he thought she was bowser from the super mario games!

Some of my fun stories

mushrooms

the green button on a dreamcast controller grew into a big bowser when I wasnt looking at it ... it just sort of grew and permeated my vision, but when I looked at it, it went away.

swirling snow on the ground turned into magnificent frozen cities

ecstasy + pot

when I stared at once place for a long enough time, I was transported to a different world everytime I did it ... once I was standing on a theatre in front of an audience, and every audience member was in full detail. But if I would blink, it would go away. Everytime I stared it happened, and I was taken somewhere else. The coolest was when I was riding in a train that was on tracks that were continuously being constructed in front of me out of neon legos.

Also, that night, a person that didnt exist walked out of my friends closet and came and sat next to me on the bed. that kinda worried me

I also see black ivy crawl along walls when on this combo, if I'm in dim liting.

A checkerboard pattern when strobe lights flash in smoke

A repeating pattern of a non-descript face in the same circumstance

Colorful flashes when I sneeze

Everything turned into a fractal mosaic and was kind of like static. Then when I would turn my head, this whooshing crackling sound (kinda like white noise) would happen. Then we were trying to find a cab and after we started talking to him he turned into a cop and I got really fucking scared. After we finally got home and started watching Sportscenter, I would see flashbacks of highlights I had seen like 10 min before, and all the numbers on the screen were jumping around the screen to the wrong places. At that point, I just wanted to go to bed.

my sofa threatened to kill me...

My advice: kick your dog out of the room before trippin'!!!

actually that's a good advice. Another one is when you are trippin' on acid, do not look at yourself in front of a mirror.

Yeah, I've heard looking at yourself in the mirror is one of the very worst things you can do. My friend's brother told me how he did this on shrooms and he looked as if he had died...his face was completely white when he looked at himself and it freaked him out.

well ive had some good times and some bad. never had full out visuals, but one time i took 2 hits of acid expecting my friend to pick me up and he got stoned and forgot and i freaked out and had the worst stomach ache. acid always gives me a stomach ache i dont like it really. one time on shrooms at the DEMF i tripped and it sucked cause you couldnt move and there was like 400,000 people in a 200,000 area and i freaked out cause i thought all my drunk friends didnt know how to get back to my car (mind you were in detroit, and its not small). ecstacy has always been good to me even though ive only done it a few times.

ummm thought i was a car... but my friend thought i was pretending to be a train so he hooked onto my back... so i turned into a train and then we had this huge congo line of mashed up idiots walking around godspeed party in sydney... that was once on an egg

bah on trips... i was tripping at my house an i have all these huge aboriginal(native australians) paintings around my house... i started to stare at them and i thought i was flying over the desert like in lion king the movie everything was cartoonish an stuff.... man i want to see that again.... ive also got writing all over my walls in my room and words kept on jumping out at me and stuff hehehe

on new years day this year i went to a huge outdoor festival in sydney called field day and i was still trolleyed after having 4grams of high grade goie and a line or two of coke and some beers... and i was walking around getting scared by all these guys dressed in the same sort of fashion yelling out "your all lemmings get away get away" heheh that was funny!!!!

Let's see.... one weekend, several years ago, I overdosed on ghb, and I couldn't function for about a week. Missed all week at work. Not good. Friday night.... regular ghb doses, nothing too crazy. Saturday nite... drank a few ounces while out partying, couldnt sleep when I got home, so I drank some more. To make a very long story short, didn't sleep for about 72 hours. On Sunday, I had no short term memory... kept hearing things, echoes that weren't there, fading in and out, almost like musik. I was shaking like a tree, my nervers were shot. I lost my sense of touch. I couldn't feel extrememly hot or cold things. By Sunday night, I was seeing evil things whenever I closed my eyes to go asleep. It was like these demons were trying to suck my soul. The most wicked faces you could ever imagine. It was like something out of a horror movie. Monday finally comes around, and everyone I see, they have dark circles around their eyes, and their faces are very long, stretched out, surreal. By now, I lose my equilibrium. I cant even drive a car. I see George Washington in my drapes around my bedroom window. The toilet bowl changes shapes as I try to take a piss. I see prehistoric creatures you could never dream of in my backyard walking around. All the while I feel as if I have died, whenever I lay down to rest. My skin feels like it weighs a ton. Anytime I try to fall asleep, the demons are waiting for me... this goes on for another day or two, til I finally "release the demons" with the help of family and friends, and Tylenol PM's. Let's just say it wasn't a very enjoyable trip, and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. A week I will never forget in this lifetime.

OMG!!!

That similarly wat happened to me. Last month, I was at Star City hotel in Sydney, and in every room, there happened to be Aboriginal paintings on the wall, and I was telling everyone to take the frames down, coz I felt like breaking it. Anyways I started telling stories about these the pictures on the wall (eventhough they were werent aboriginal), and I was the centre of attention for a while, as I was sitting at a table, with around 40 people listening to me. And talk about jibberish. I also freak out at the table I was next to.

not exactly a hallucination story but just a bad trip.
had smoked a lot with a couple friends...then for some reason had to rush home..got home and the rents came up and just started talking to me..argh..but the whole time i couldnt sit up cause i felt as if my body was a bouncing ball..i would just go boin boing boing really fast, well at least it felt like it for about 30 min..then gradually the bouncing slowed down just like a ball..
i dont know it was tripping me out so hardcore i was scared...

never forget one of the first times i was stoned, kinder weird but when i was lying on the floor i felt as if my whole body was sinking into it, really spooky, then when i got over that this raver girl appeared in my room and just started dancing the whole night, that was really cool.

oh yeah and then for the rest of my experiance i was riding a horse over fields and hills.

werd~!

my friend wathed a fly dance to MChammer for 2 hours

1. Took 3 pills at a local club, went to the club alone, but my g/f was to meet me later that nite. By the time she got there I had taken 2 of the 3 & since she didnt wanna drop, I took the 3rd, brilliant rush !!! 2 hours or so into the rush, the lights start heading towards me, they were like hitting me in the head, I tell her, she laughs at me. Got over that, next thing - ppl dancing in air about 3 feet above me, now the thing is I KNOW I AM HALLUCINATING, but its still pretty kewl. I was rollin so bad that nite, i was making out with her, notice my shoe lace was open, tried to tie it - seemed like my shoe was on the freakin moon or sumthing - evenutally she tied my lace while I was fighting Gravity to stay upright

2. BAD Experience - dropped with a friend @ a lousy club, completely freaked out - had 2 chicks with me, told them i had to leave early, dropped them home, lying in my head still rolling, and a FREAKIN HUGE MS-DOS screen appears and text started apearing for the next 2 hours or so !!!!!! BAD SHIT !!!!

3. Had a house party with only guys, everyone dropped, went clubbing, came back every1 still rolling - so we sit down everyone closed their eyes and started to describe what hallucination they were experiencing, I remeber I was on an airplane flying on the edge of the earth and space, viewing some desert oon 1 side and the stars ont the other.


Well been 3 months since I last took, not missing it though !!!

That is so stupid. I would hate to be the passenger of your car.

the famous black ivy on the walls. heheh i would get that a lot too when i would smoke and roll...it's creepy. i would also get "shudder vision" a lot too. i think that's if you have a roll that has too much speed in it. it's the most annoying thing in the world. everything shakes back and forth like a million times a minute. you can't focus on one object. i would try to dial a numnber on my cell phone and that was the biggest mission in the world because i couldn't see the numbers....

hahhah coming home on "e" or acid and having dogs and cats is WEIRD. i would look at my dog and think to myself, "oh my god, what is this furry creature doing in my house?!"

first time i did acid was after 2 rolls and that was friggin horrible! the whole entire night i could not comprehend the english language. my friends (only on e) were all sitting around talking about a bunch of crap and i was just sitting there silently observing and trying to understand what they were saying. they would look at me and be like, "ey jamie lemme get a cigarette". and i would just sit there and stare at them and think in my mind... "ok what is a cigarette again?" it was craaazy! everything was taking like 5 min to process in my head. i even said that outloud and my friends never let me live that night down. after that, whenever i would ask for a cig they would be like, "hey jamie, what is a cigarette again?" and bust out laughing.

2nd time i did acid, the person i was with was wigging out and thinking he was never gonna be "normal" again. i dont think i need to get into that! what a nightmare. i also did the whole mirror thing that night and convinced myself we are all aliens.

Here are a couple of mine I'll try and keep them short.

Anyone here ever seen glasses on people when on E? Basically, everyone is wearing glasses. The round spectacle kind. This is a re-occurring event for me as well as people's faces taking on demon like features. Has anyone else ever seen this? This hasn't happened to me in a while but I found comfort on Bluelight knowing I was not alone in these occurances. They happen to quite a lot of people.

One of the worst hallucinations I've had are seeing a maggot bore under the skin of my friend's head. I sat there awestruck as I watched it trail under his skin just like a gopher under the ground. Finally it burst out of the corner of his eye. It looked like a large centipede of some sort. It quickly bored back into his head and tunneled off. I kept seeing this maggot throughout the night. That same night I opened my eyes only to see a 4th person in the room directly across from me. (There were only 3 of us) This person had a demon like appearance, fucked up jagged teeth, had a yellow shirt on, and was staring at me with an evil look. I shook my head and he was gone. Many other things happened this night but I'll cut this short. I thought I was taking E but to this day I'm not sure what it was as I've never experienced anything like it since.
It was frightening but fun all at the same time.

One of the funniest hallucination stories I've ever heard was from one off of Erowid. Some guy on some endogenous substance sat in the corner of a room for 3 days because he thought he was an IBM pro printer! That kills me everytime!!

I remember my first roll with my exgf. We were watching a DVD in her basement that night and all of a sudden i noticed the tv screen would flicker here and there. Id ask whitney if she saw it and she'd say NO. I was like "hmmmmm, ok, maybe she blinked or something." Then I would see the picture flicker on and off and i kept telling her that there is something wrong with the dvd and she'd just keep tellin me that theres nothing wrong. Hehehe, then things started to get juicy when the edges of the tv screen started to liquify and started to wave up and down like gel and eventually the edges started to change different colors.

the first (and only ) time i ever took acid, i lost a shoe. i am still mad at the state of connecticut about that....

when i trip i very often see circus animals, in the sky or walking around in the grass. i was at a show and i had to weave through the concert field to avoid all the clowns on the ground (the grass had turned into a carpet)

but lately i have been hallucinating and i haven't been doing any drugs at all. that is really scary. i drive home on little sleep and i see all sorts of weird stuff. like a few weeks ago i saw a 2 ft tall wizard made out of weeds and grass leaning against a signpost waving at me.

One day in october 1997 there were two hardcore events the same day: Thunderdome Global Hardcore Nation (Antwerp, Belgium) and Shadowlands Rave (Heerenveen, Holland).

We decided to drive to the north of Holland for Shadowlands. The trip is about 100 miles or so but it was misty so we didn't go too fast.

The 2 hour drive was sooo boring, we decided to stop and take some 'white lines'. Well, each line was about 10 cm long. Being used to the shit we drove on without problems to the Thialf Ice Stadium.

The searches were extremely stringent so we dropped our E outside (2 pills). When we got inside it took about an hour and still nothing kicked in (probably didn't feel it because of the sosa)

We decided to roll a joint. Bad idea. After I inhaled 3 times, the E, the sosa and the weed kicked in at the same time.

I can take a lot of dope (especially back then), but this was too much. I saw vampires, laser beams were spaceships, my chewing gun felt like if my teeth were about to drop on the ground, the music became devilish etc etc

Fortunately you know what to do, even in such condition. I found a nice quiet spot and sat down for about half an hour. Scariest moment in my life.


In Berlin this year we had some fun in our hotelroom, eating E (4/5 each) and smoking a lot of weed. At one moment I knew it would take about 5 minutes before I would start seeing things... I went to my own room but when I put out the light the room became 1000x bigger and I just couldn't find my bed. It really felt if I was in space floating to eternity.
