Vegas First Timer. Help a guy out!!

Whats goin on everyone. Im headin out to Vegas this weekend for a bachelor party.. Thought I'd swing through here and see if anyone could give me some advice. Places to eat & go etc. Right now I know we are going to Marquee Saturday night for Kaskade & Life Sunday for Cirez D. Any cool bar spots or eats you guys could recommend would be much appreciated. Thanks!

get ready to have your wallet raped

the best food in vegas is off strip. everything on the strip is going to be really overpriced. I'd recommend using yelp at a minimum to avoid the really terrible places. Sorry its hard to really make suggestions as the range of food is pretty insane, and its as wide as the range of good/bad/overpriced. Most of it is pretty good, price nonwithstanding.

All of the bars I have been to have been either downtown or at town square, so I can't really help you there.

Hit up a Buffet when you are hungry! You will be full for the rest of the day!

Tacos El Gordo. Long wait but worth it.

Elegant Greek dining at Estiatorio Milos in The Cosmopolitan: You can drop $300 a person there at night, or instead have their three-course lunch for $22.14 (plus drinks)! Make reservations ahead of time, not sure if it's Mon-Fri only or weekends as well, but it's really good.

If you like Indian Food, there's the Mint Indian Bistro in a dive strip shopping mall, great lunch buffet was well.

For a hearty omelet at 3am, head over to McMullan's Irish Pub near Orleans Casino. They have a late night food menu with great prices. A couple of years ago, there was an omelette on the menu for $10, and it stated "choose some or all of the following ingredients..." So I said "Guess I'll choose them all" and the guy replied "That's what most do!" Gigantic omelette with potatoes, toast, etc. and pints of Guinness to wash it all down with were also discounted. The late night menu starts at 11pm and goes until early morning, just check it out online first to be sure. I was blown away that this little place is open and serves food 24/7!

"The Egg and I" for awesome omelettes during regular hours. Had the Mexican Omelette there once and I swear it was the best one I have ever eaten! Great service too, can't go wrong there.

I have also wanted to try Carlito's Burritos, as they serve "authentic New Mexican" food. A friend of mine told me about it, and since I'm originally from New Mexico, I have to go sometime!

Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas for German food and beer. It's a 2/3 size replica of the original in Munich, complete with Oompah band, pretzel girls, bullhorns and spanking paddles. Have a few beers in their liter steins, Oktoberfest kicks off this Saturday at 7pm!

Holsteins is in the cosmo and is prob one of the best burger places in vegas.

wicked spoon (buffet) is really good too. Try to go an hour before they switch from breakfast to lunch, then you can get an hour of both (most/all buffets have a ~2 hour limit and they will start pestering you)

Do lots of coke. It's much cheaper than eating there.

Of course there is also "secret pizza" on the third floor above Marquee. No sign...just a hallway that leads down to a pizza place. Purchase by size or whole pizza. I even have a dollar bill on their wall!
