Metering Question.

How come I'm getting different metering levels between channel 1 and Master Channel when in solo button is triggered?

Last but not least why are some different metering plugins so expensive like around 400?

I'm inclined to believe it's user error but it could be down to any number of reasons such as fader position, pan settings, sends, inserts etc.

And some metering programs have a lot more detail than others in terms on function such as various calibrations, sensitivity, units etc. $400 does seem ridiculous though for a plugin that just measures levels.

Yeah I agree lol.

Everything is set defualt but its 0.1 db difference so no biggie there.

Most metering packages are a rip off, for people who don't know better.

oh, that probably the margin of error within your DAW so I wouldn't even pay any attention.
