303 line (heeeelp!?)
This is the 303 line I am trying to figure out (Amber Melody - The Bass): [[ LINK REMOVED ]]
I am trying to use Reason's Matrix but can't really figure out how to achieve this style of line?
Heeeeeelp me

Hmm... But you can listen + download the sample from my link?
The link is here: [[ LINK REMOVED ]]
Or can't you open it?
Here's what I noticed:
- saw wave
- distortion
- slide + accent on some parts
You'll have to find the right starting spots for the cutoff and resonance and then tweak accordingly for squelches. I haven't used Reason, but the starting points below should apply to most synths:
- fill all 16 steps with the note C
- transpose a few of those C notes an octave up
- place a few slides and/or accents across the sequence
- play around with the cutoff and resonance
- remove some of the notes to build a groove
You can hear some of those things in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FsrpwvRwugk
