-- Big Room should be called Hard House or Swedish Hard House

Sneaker Pimp Big Room should be called Hard House or Swedish Hard House

Big Room should be called Hard House or Nu Hard House or Swedish Hard House (since major Big Room DJs are Swedish and it's opposition of UK Hard House)

Big Room certainly has the major characteristics of Hard House and Hard Trance but slowed down to 128

What do you think?

It shouldn't be called Big Room as a genre because anything can be played in the big room, depending on what's popular and trending at the time.

It sounds nothing like hard trance slowed down it should be called electro noise

It's basically anthem house for the new generation, though some to the more dreadful tracks - the ones that sound like hardstyle slowed down - could be called Dutch House. Only they could produce something so cheesily awful.

Agreed with system-J . There comes a time when it is important to classify into genres, but when you are dichotimizing into multiple sub genres of sub genres, it is time to step back from the pretentious attempt of positioning and differentiation for relevancy.

Also, why is OPs name khomha, I seriously doubt that you are the artist

Anything as long as Dutch isn't in it.

House is a stupid name too. I mean, anything could be played in a house.

Touche. Where did the genre name "House" come from?

In that regard, I can see "Big Room" being an applicable subgenre name.

What's next? Dining Room music? Living Room music?

You say Dutch House. I say Swedish House like Swedish House Mafia and Avicii

and music like this hard trance synth with hard house beats and sounds like Scooter
