Hey,

Lately (when I've not been reviewing Airscape remixes!!) I've been working on a new tune and I think it's pretty nice.. it started out with a extremely simple melody that worked good.. and then I added some strings to the melody and suddenly the song sounded like Cygnus X - Superstring (rank-1 remix). I don't wanna be a rip off. .but I think the strings sound so nice so I'm not sure if I wanna remove them.. Anyway, I just wanna know your opinion. Do you think this is a ripoff?

well i have had this on repeat for 15mins now n think the melody is fuckin excellent YES KEEP THEM !!! the percussion is fairly ballz tho, do u use reason or fruity or what, coz i want it, the bass is pretty mint too, just get the percussion sorted and u will have a TUNE, keep me informed

Oki, I will try to do something about the percussion

I use logic with my hardware synths.. all the sounds used here is from the Novation Nova. You can get the Nova to sound a lot like the Jp8000 if you use unison mode and double saw.

I use fruity with plugins so I don't have a clue m8 lol

Hehe, I guess it got extra big because I'v replied to almost all the messages

Thanks.. about the supporting melody that is great idea, but it's so hard. I think the sample sounds very good, but the rest of the song is not so good. It's very boring and sounds weird.

if you made the song longer and through your song variate the kicks.
as in dont make them be exactly the same length appart.

Good song Much Much better than what i could do. But im more into drumb and bass.

Do you want your hihats that loud. I hear a clap in the softer part, I would put it up. You can go on with the melody, downwards also would be a buildup, I like the full sound. I often use different bass rythms, now you have one inbetween the beats when the beat comes in. You already combined this with the same notes higer in the melody though.
