i like prog tunes that are deep yet upllfting but not boring. I'm pretty much a sucker for ambience and a good beat.

Nice to see belgians spotting the first and second place

For me...it's hard to say a favorite producer, cuz there are a lot of them with different tunes and styles.
It's not like one or 6 persons dominate like with trance (MIKE, L-vee, Ferry...etc....)

But the ones that impressed me the most this year is absolutely
Shmuel Flash (the revelation for me)
lemon8 did great stuff this year (arrakis aira force lemon8 remix
as an example)
Junkie xl made a nice entry too...
Pole Folder...
etc...

Lexicon Avenue is not really progressive, i'll say they are strictly house dj's that produce mainly progressive house and some tribal Lemon 8 is definitely a good example of progressive, Oko Tek, Blackwatch >> you can't go wrong there! Mara, nah more of house than progressive.
Creamer & K House presence strictly!
dont forget about Evolution & Quivver, progressive excellence here! Bill Hamel is great but i like when breakS dj's remix his songs

Pole Folder & CP
Evolution
Bedrock (remixes)
The Echomen (progressive house)
Lexicon Avenue <<< yes yes yes!!!
i lised only 3 progressive producers

Posted by UWM on Oct-17-2002 17:01:

No order really, just my five faves

Quivver
James Holden
Lemon 8
Creamer / K
