That never used to be an issue. I've had that email for years. It used to subscribe me anyways and show on my subscribed threads when I clicked profile (in fact I haven't used a real email address on TA for at least 8 years).

Odd, it was turned off in my profile, turning it back on fixed it. Not sure how it got turned off.

Uh, no. The only time I have subscribed to a thread is by accident. I don't like extra shit cluttering up my email. Plus I'm on TA enough to keep up with thread activity.

Which is why I said you'd be subscribed to more threads than me probably if you had the feature enabled to automatically subscribe you.

I hate the cluttered emails too, but I do like the profile page to quickly see what threads I've been active in have responses, makes browsing TA quicker. I just check that page and if nothing exciting is going on, go back to doing whatever else I was doing.

Sadly with vB you can't have it do one or the other in terms of thread subscriptions. If you are subscribed it has to send you emails too, not just show it on your subscribed threads list.
