Dickweed Live in whoreonto
http://www.beatport.com/release/joh...toronto/1425140
Was out of the loop, browsing the beatport release just now.
Yea a bunch of fodder as to be expected in a long ass set, but also some really great tracks thrown in. October - homo sapiens 2007. Casa bulga from 2003; seems like he picked out some old favorites for this one. Ordering a copy, anyone have a listen?

| Originally posted by Paradox Lost If you listened to him as far back as 2005, you'd be hard pressed to spot even slight differences in his style today. I could listen to Fabric 20 or Transitions vol. 1 and have no idea they were ten years old (assuming I didn't know the individual tracks). I think the only real difference is in tempo, as I remember some of those older tracks playing as fast as 126, which Digweed doesn't get anywhere near, anymore. |

fantastic release, easily his best 'live in' CD.
tune of the comp:
I love how this guy essentially just went and created his own, personalized Global Underground series.

no way, listen again
I was there that night and I didn't find his set at all special... many of my friends disagreed but to each their own. I've always enjoyed Digweed's club nights over the years and I wouldn't even place this one in my top 5... VERY surprised he made it into a release but whatever.
I gave it a 7.5 and yea it wasn't my fav digweed set, the energy just wasn't that high imo. But looking at the cd I enjoy quite a few of those tracks.
@rubez I've been playing that EP by the tweakers quite often. But casa bulga Classic !
the preview on soundcloud sounds distinctly average
Does anyone have the 'Live In Miami' vinyl featuring Laurent Garnier's Choice - Acid Eiffel? Was wondering if it's an edit or the full mix.
That Bodzin track is nasty!!
