How Big Is Your Record Collection ??

I've been collecting vinyl for the last 2 and a half years, and now have about 400 records. Post how long you've been collecting for and how many records you have.

don't know since when i'm collecting, first order was mekka - diamondback, now i have like 180 records or something..

Edit:

I counted them once 2 years ago and made an alphabetical list of it all (what a job THAT was ) and if I remember correctly the count went up to 250 or so.

...I have no idea how many CD's (I don't own any vinyl) I've got now.

About 100 cd and a couple of vinyls: Ralphie B - Massive, Blaze feat Palmer Brown - My beat, Star Wars soundtrack and a couple of old soul records including original Shaft sound track (I think the latter one is worth something)

Playing cds is really nice.. I hate listening to mp3 albums

My CD collection is way to big. I started collecting synthpop and 80s dance music in the mid 90s. Stuff like Depeche Mode & New Order. Now I have 3000+ CDs, and about 300 records.

I'm still working on my trance collection. Only up to 200 there.

I Finally got to just over 500 trance vinyl yesterday after buying 30 records for �10 in a second hand shop and there were some good records to eg Ayla / Aurora /Storm ect. I own more than this but this is what I'd call decent vinyl even though there some cheese in there

I've got some trancey hardhouse ( well 4 ) and some hardcore ( 6 )
I own about 120 uk garage vinyl ( please forgive me )but I let my little brother use them.
The situation will get a lot worse for my money if I get a credit card and buy online.
I've been collecting nearly 2 years and I feel very very addicited.
But not obsessed as my girlfreind thinks and yes it has lead to some arguments.
