a true masterpeice should be timeless
Woodvale near Joondulup
You dood?
also i agree and i understand all the dissing of sandstorm :P but to me the song took me places and thats what good trance does in my opinion amongst other things so i do feel it deserves lots of recognition which incedintly it does have :P
it may do over in australia, but over here in the UK i think nearly everyone vomits when they hear it
it got waaaaaaaaay overplayed by everyone everywhere..
I agree it was a class tune before it got played by everyone and their grandmothers
now we are just sick of it
Another recent masterpeice in my veiw is Satoshi Tomiie - Love In Traffic
Swan View - Near Midland.
And about Sandstorm, when that first came out it was nice and was played by PVD and other DJ's when it first came out, but it got HAMMERED everyhwere after that. (Even here in Australia tu-face) That in turn, will kill any timelessness on any track. I prefer tracks that are awesome, but aren't so well known or played to death. Examples...
Beam & Yanou - The Free Fall [The Opus]
Palmer Vs Ramone - Lonely Summer [Ramone Club Mix]
Vinyl Baby - Lovin' You [Rob Searle Vocal Mix]
lol theres lots of masterpieces everywhere..
it just depends what u consider a masterpiece.....
right now..
all of tiesto's stuff can be called a masterpiece..
then there are tracks like
Pathfinder - Hard Rain.
which i would say is arguably one of the best of 2001 so far..
Aria - One is nicely done..
and about amillion others =p
