Guestion of house... Bass or just kick?
I was trying to learn some house beats. And I was trying to figure out some house songs how they are constructed. Some of them seem to have very low bass (but you still recognize it it is bass). But some are more difficult, like this one: [[ LINK REMOVED ]]
Is there bass synth going on? Or is it only a bass drum that is quite deep so it sounds like a bass synth line? What do you think?
you need to polynumerate the bass synth. The forlorn accubass micronodes should cross-actuate the nano vernacular data grid. Only then can you fagulate the bang wave.

| Originally posted by Robotrance theres no sub bass or base synth here that I can hear, however the kickdrum and the offbeat bonga-style snare drum has a tail almost on key with the "melody" of the track so it could sounds like it is a baseline there, eventhough it is not (at least from what i can hear). you could achieve the same by adjusting pitch on the drums you select for your song. here the drums selected have some low end and tail which helps. theres plenty of drum sounds like these in Reason's included Factory soundbank (browse from Redrum or Kong for instance). hope it helps |
You are really nice person for helping + sharing the knowledge. Thank you again.

Just posting to make fun of you for calling this house

Carry on.
the thing about kick and bassline in edm is that its usually not what one is lower vs what one is higher.....in fact.....they are usually more like a jigsaw puzzle......both interlocking above and below.....kind of like a loving embrace....
Reggaeton!
