I'm just gonna vent here. Napster is really making me mad now. It seems everything I look for is blocked by the filters. Man I wish they never messed with napster.

Yepp, the whole napster thing is getting on my nerves. It's a fact that it was the best tool for finding trance tunes, and i don't like any of the alternatives for finding music, with a slight exception for audiogalaxy satellite.

cmon we cant really get mad at napster no matter how much it makes us feel better. do you ever think napster thought that is was ever gonna do anything but grow. everytime i get that bullshit on napster it makes me pissed off at music companys and metalica and the government and all the other stupid whining bitches. but it seems like noone even has any respect for napster anymore. napster fucking rules!!!
me still use napster and love it! true, things are getting worse for it...but people are making the effort to bypass all these restrictions by changing the names of their files and stuff. dammmn metallica and the rest of them dumbass music companies.
but i will use napster till it's dying breath.

no im not mad. but ive seen a few of these napster sucks threads. and it makes me think people dont appreciate napster just cause its not as good as it used to be. if napster was to be gone tomorrow i wouldnt be mad cause i got(and im still getting) plenty of use out of it to be forever thankful that it was ever available to me.
I would be mad if Napster falls because it's the biggest domino, once it goes the rest will follow.

Isn't it true Napster is never going to be shut down as long as artist like Prince (allright, he sucks!) support it?
And they'll never be able to filter all the rest of the songs.....

Is is just me or does it seem like more and more people on Napster want to get files but don't want to give files.
I'm finding that now, more than ever, when you start to download a file, whoever you're downloading it from cancels the download. I thought the whole idea behind Napster was to "SHARE" files. I could maybe see cancelling the transfer if the download speed was real slow or something but now it seems to happen even with fast speeds more than before. I know it's not my connection or software that's the problem because the same thing happens to everyone else that I know that downloads from Napster. But...to whoever mentioned Audiognome.....thanks....I'll check it out.
yeah..i hear ya johnny, a lot of users on napster are being selfish idiots. i dunno why...maybe because it sucks up their bandwidth?? who knows...but there are still the majority that still does, because if it wasn't so..well napster would exist anymore...
Seach and you will eventually find.
I've noticed that if you make multiple searches on Napster for a song that you want you can eventually find someone who is sharing it, just named a tiny bit different. For example if a song title is three words long, try just the first or last two words...Using Artist is now basically useless, but if you look hard enough, I can still find almost everything with just the tiniest discrepancy in the way it is named, and its true actually name.
Just some food for thought.
TRY DOWNLOADING AND USING GNOTELLA.it resumes incomplete downloads and works in a similar way to napster!!
yeah I used to use napster to find new trance cds by looking at other peoples libraries. I have got so much new stuff, untill i was blocked!!!!!!! ARSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

Has anybody else been blocked???? i think i might have to re-formatt mt computer, i deleted the program and info in regedit, and reinstalled napster,logged in using a different username & email but it still blocked me ARSSSSSSSSS!!
but finding this site and more has made up for my loss, but it was use full for finding new trance music..
TRY GNOTELLA, not as easy as napster but is does the bizz..

Wow NZWaverider...that really sucks. You are the first person that I've heard of that happening to. Something tells me that we're going to see a lot of that, though.

yep napster has been pissing me off lately, but i'll get over it, i guess, i use audiogalaxy now, and i think that i'll start using audiognome.
