Trancecore?
Basically im looking 4 some amazing Trancecore (if trancecore isnt a real genre dont slate me ive been told it is
anyways DJ's @ Work are examples of the sort of tunes im talking about
if any one can reccomend some tunes like this please post a reply cheers!!!!
Well, DJ's @ Work aren't exactly trancecore artists. Maybe if you could specify your wanted genre a bit more some of us can help you out.
But uhmm, it obviously isn't trancecore what you want. Cuz that's more like hardcore/gabber with trancy elements, like synths. More melodic type of hardcore.

For English people it's a form of happy hardcore without vocals.
Speed 170 BPM
For Dutch people it's a combination of trance (1996 style) and hardcore. Speed 180 BPM
English people call hardstyle "UK hardhouse"
What you name trancecore, we call happy hardcore.
What Americans may call mellow, we call club. It's too confusing, so the Dutch keep it simple:
Hardcore = Gabber, Oldschool, Terror, Newstyle, Happy hardcore
Cenobite's style is a combination of trance and hardcore, trancecore, and is unique. Only Ruffneck sounds a bit the same but they call it Artcore. Michel Klaasen (Leviathan) himself calls it trancecore too
Speedcore is something we just call 'terror'
But then again, Rotterdam Terror Corps is just gabber.
Some other genres have been named trancecore also,
but trancecore was invented by Cenobite Records and Ruffneck/Gangsta Records (artcore) in the period 1995-1998.
Trancecore is QUALITY hardcore with trance influences (best example: Nitre - FTWA and Crypt - Rise & shine)
The Cenobite tracks are mainly based on Hellraiser movie samples.

These tracks are quite rare but I posted 32 of them, so you might find them in the 'you know what' hub
The tracks are all from 1996-1997.
Cenobite Records was gone in 1999, but Leviathan is doing a comeback.
His liveact at Thunderdome a few weeks ago was smashing, and these tracks will never go out of date.
Some Freeform/Trancecore links...
www.nuenergy.co.uk - a collective of the best Freeform/Trancecore record labels. They used to have audio samples of ALL their backstock records on their site, but they just upgraded their system and I can't seem to find out of stock releases anymore, but maybe that's just me...
www.sonicfury.net - source for audio downloads. Download any mix by DJ Tilzs (there are lots in the audio section), who, along with DJ Sharkey, are arguably the two best Freeform/Trancecore DJs in the world. This will give you a good overview of what Freeform/Trancecore is all about...
>> CLICK HERE FOR A DIRECT LINK << to all the Freeform/Trancecore audio on their site. I personally recommend Tilzs's Internet Mixes #2, #5, Chaos Theory, or Prophecy, but pretty much any Tilzs mix should be a good intro to Freeform/Trancecore.
Enjoy!

Good cd. Ruffneck/Gangsta/Artcore isn't trancecore though. It has jungle/drum&bass influences, but no trance.
