yeah that's stupid... their still going to be making music together... like it's not like their not going to play together either... their will be times shows and songs that they will do together... and Johnnie is only keeping the name because his Johnnie White sounds kind of stupid as a stage name... like I love these guys and have been to atleast 10 of their shows but I don't think it's really necessary to split up per say...
so I guess it will just be johnnie at EI this year
With their success it's probably much easier (and more fun) to play apart than together.
Deep Dish parted ways for the same reason. It costs the promoter a lot more to book DJ duos because of the travel costs. DJs also get to play less - which no DJ usually likes.
They've probably been playing apart a lot anyway. It's nothing new.
Pig & Dan play as Pig & Dan all over but it's usually just one of them.

CZ could use a revitilization. I mean, would it really kill them to have a decent headliner once or twice a month? It would be interesting as most headliners are booked in not full afterhours clubs where they play from like 1-3 or 4 only.

Aren't there lineups at like 2am just to get in? Sounds like they don't need to do jack and ppl will come..
