Jackass

ok, it has been a while since i have watched TV (aside from the news), but not THAT long. has the entire meaning of entertainment changed in the last few months? i dont understand the point of watching a bunch of half bred white trash punks break stuff and crash into things....anyone care to fill me in?

i think they always will be funny

haha one time, the guys dad on the show, around 500 lbs, was mowing the lawn, but they dug a hole on the lawn, covered it, and he fell in..I NEVER LAUGHED SO HARD

i think you can tell a lot about a person by the TV shows they watch

Physical humor is great. Theres nothing wrong with watching a few people do some crazy stunts.

Jack ass is just plain hilarious. I'm sorry, but no other forms of comedy can match it. Tom Green is by far one of the closest, if not better.

What makes it so funny? We'll, public reaction is more than half of it. Stupid regular tv shows/series, average comedians in standup, etc. can't match up to watching a guy fall down a stairs in a shopping basket in a public place.

Ofcourse, its an aquired taste. Its just one of those things.

(sigh), I miss the ole days when I too, was nearly as nuts as those guys.

yeah i think its pretty funny. theres a lot of people out there that like to pretend they are 'above' that kind of humor, but i dont see why. its the most universal type of hilarity |

I love it. The best is on Jackass when they pretend to drop a casket or "leave" a baby carriage sit on top of moving car. . . . .. or going to a stereo store and puttin on some gay music and strippin in the store. . . .. . or seeing a midget crash into random things is pretty hilarious itself.

ok i can understand the reactions of the other people being funny, but i think the self destructive stunts are ridiculous...there is no "pretending" i dont like that sort of humor at all. i just dont like it. but then again i have always been the type that appreciates a very different kind of humor than most people. for example..."There's Something About Mary"....i think i laughed once...everyone else thought it was hysterical. and i laughed my ass off at "American Beauty" no one else really found it as funny as i did.

i dunno when i watched Jackass last night, all i saw were these idiots letting alligators bite their nipples and driving a golf cart into a big pile of dirt and this guy broke his tooth...how is that funny??

well i thot both TISAM and AB were hilarious. i think both of those are funny cause people are stupid. they both just take a different angle on the subject.


and people breaking teeth isnt funny, but jumping golf carts is not only funny, its saweet! but if you dont get it, i dunno how i can explain it. people just think different stuff is funny. my dad hates, absolutely HATES adam sandler and tom green, yet i think they are hilarious just cause they piss people off. late|

yeah that Party Boy tune is gay, but hella funny

also what's funny is when some big guy (can't remember his name) goes in and "takes a shit", and then Wee Man (the midget) comes out 20 minutes til it's on here

they have some funny moments, ie the Brad Pitt abduction... but other than that, it's just a bunch of idiots crashing into things.

Kids in the Hall is still the funniest show ever.

jackass has been the show where ive never laughed or cringed before in my life. I literally dont stop laughing for 20 minutes during jackass.

Kids in the hall is great...but im all about low brow humor and Tom green show on comedy network was the funniest shit ive ever seen, have every episode on tv...man to bad americans get to see the shitty side of him

some of the skits are incredibly funny like the bicycle jousting one.

and the public reaction is cool too like the blind guy driving.

i already got the movie, and its friggin hilarious! its basically like a 1.5 hour show... no plot just GREAT shit...

and for the record, Tom Green is GREAT.... "freddy got fingered" is one of the funniest movies ever.

I have every episode on VCD...
