Remixes that sound nothing like the original

The first that come to mind are:-
Sabotage - Return to Ibiza (Lock N Load remix)
Solar Stone - Seven Cities(Paris & Sharp remix)
Timo Maas - Der Schieber (Rapid Eye remix)
Ramirez - Hablando (Push remix)
M.O.R.P.H - Maximum overdrive (Benicio remix) - However there are 3 original mixes of this so M.B De goeij(benicio) must have thought fuck it and just made a new tune with some samples from the originals!!
Anyway can you guys think of any others????

There's lots of them, particularly the Dub Trance remixes of pop songs but I won't list any of them. Here's a few that come to mind:

Svenson & Gielen - Twisted (Jacob & Mendez Spanish Dub)
Cosmic Gate - The Truth (Ferry Corsten Remix)
Orion Too - Hope & Wait (S.H.O.K.K Remix)

underworld - born slippy [picotto private mix] <-- hehe where is the "born slippy"

tiesto - lethal industry [picotto remix] <-- only thing that reminds U its lethal industry are the vocals

I was going to mention these.

These are prime examples of remixes having no resemblance to the original.

Kai Tracid - Liquid Skies (Polaris Lab Mix)
Tilt - Children (Breeder's Baroque Dub)
RMB - Spring (Future Breeze Remix) --> Sounds more of X-Cabs - Neuro than RMB - Spring

And all the remixes of Ayla - Ayla need to be mentioned because they are actually based on the melody of DJ Tandu Remix not on the original melody.. so they are remixes of a remix ..except Mo & Skinny Hole In One Remix which is the only one using the melody from the Original Mix.

Talking about remixes of a remix, another obvious case is,

Art Of Trance - 'Madagascar'.

All the remixes including Ferry Corsten's are based on the original remix done by Cygnus-X not the original.

Also,

The Push remix of 'The Orange Theme' hardly uses the original melody at all.
