Anyone checking -> THIS <- out? I've really enjoyed her previous articles on Toronto night life.. plus I respect her contribution to the scene, so I'll be going to go support and grab a book of the copy. Also, Mark Oliver and Deko-ze on the decks will be a pleasant treat.

I took a quick look at this book at my friends place. Definitely a good book to have if you care enough about the scene... or how it has evolved over the years.

It's paperback only.

Just picked up a copy today; looking forward to reading up on how the Toronto night life has evolved since '75 and take a blast into the past!

I pre-ordered my copy off of Amazon as soon as it became available - especially since it was cheaper than buying direct from the publisher. How on earth that's the case, I'll never know.

Anyway, I've yet to delve into it but I'm very interested in modern sub-cultures - especially rave and club culture. I'm fortunate enough to have lived through some of it, but reading people's different takes on it is always interesting.
