KarateKid Fav ninja or Samurai movies.

Coolest part was when a couple ninjas throws a bunch ninja stars at the samurai and he dices all of them with his wakazachi, for real take a look.

Easy:

Seven Samurai
Harakiri
Samurai Rebellion
Sword Of Doom

If you haven't seen these, you haven't seen real Samurai films.

Loved this when I was younger, but now it's a bit cheesy and dated:

Still probably enjoyable, though, like an oldschool Van Damme movie.

True, I like the newer flicks. I haven;t seen those btw/

I watched that Zatoichi movie while tripping on mushrooms, about the time it was released. It's pretty good, but a bit one-dimensional and not nearly as interesting as the older classics.

I can't take black and white and American Samurai is just pure cheese.

The Perfect Weapon was awesome, but it ain't a samurai or ninja film.

Posted by Innocence Lost on Jul-23-2015 21:14:

If he did karate or ninjutsu than i guess that would fall under samurai or ninja.

I like blind fury.

Lol, the 80s and early 90s was paradise for cheesy ninja and martial arts movies. I loved them as a little kid but I doubt even one of them would hold up to a viewing these days.

Huh, I didn't know that was the last film in the American Ninja series.

These were so awesome when I was a kid, but yeah cheesy as hell now but I can still enjoy them.American Ninja 4 was pretty epic for it's day as it featured both Michael Dudikoff from the first two and then David Bradley.
