That official Jan Johnston homepage sucks, it doesn't tell you much about her in her biography or her date of birth. It is also full of false info e.g it says BT discovered a Jan Johnston record in a bin in January 97, which is completely untrue because "Anomaly (Calling Your Name)" was released in October 96 and it also says "Love Will Come" was with Chicane when it was with Tomski! It's a terrible website and it needs to be fixed!

Hello! another one

u can also try

www.perfecto-fc.com

Perfecto is Paul Oakenfolds Label and there is a paul oakenfold mix of Jan Johnson's Flesh
he has info on Jan Johnson on that site

Flesh was brought out on Perfecto Records
and there is a Album coming soon of hers

LoL, that's pretty sad when an official homepage has false info.

eh? have you heard any of bt's trackz? with the female vocals? like bt - dreaming or bt - remember? that's jan johnston in the background.

Posted by KristineClub on Apr-25-2001 03:45:

Shame / Disagreement

I didn't think Jan Johnston did 'Dreaming'. and i'm pretty sure she didn't do 'Remember' either (but i might be wrong on that one). Other excelent examples of Jan's vocals include:
BT & PvD - Sunblind
BT - Flamming June
BT - Mercury & Solace
Freefall - Skydive
i think there are more but can't think. definitely my favorite vocalist

Actually..
Chicane = Tomski = Nick Bracegirdle

It's the same guy..

But yeah.. I think you're right about 'Anomaly' though..

Posted by patticus on Apr-25-2001 10:22:

she definitely a kick-ass vocalist but she's not hot
heh

Tomski is not Chicane as I said in another message

Tomski = Tom Janciewicz

Chicane = Nick Bracegirdle

They are two different people, surely you should know this by now!

Where did you find that information.. ?

http://www.mcbn.ru/scene/
Says they're the same person..

Posted by Paul Wilson on Apr-25-2001 22:06:

Not this again, I've just gone over this in another thread. Here is a direct quote of the credits on Tomski "14 Hours To Save the Earth" copied straight off my CD Single:

"Written and produced by Tom Janciewicz. Published by MCA Music. Liscenced from Firefly Records England. Tracks 1 & 3 - Remix and additional production by Trouser Enthusiasts for Contagious, assisted by Torsten Gascoigne. Tracks 2 & 4 - Remix and additional production by Nick Bracegirdle. Track 5 - Mixed and produced by Tom Janciewicz."

Nick Bracegridle was only part of the Rebel Transcanner Mix of "14 Hours To Save The Earth".

just goes to show you, you can't trust info on the net entirely. people will make one mistake and everyone else will follow that information. that's how the net works. thank god, we got that sorted out from the original source. heheh.

Posted by breakdown on Apr-25-2001 22:38:

LOOK!!!

NICK BRICEGIRDLE isn't TOM JANKIEWICZ (Tomski)
=p

and paul... u know wut dude?
i think ur very narrow minded.....sometims..
abt things... in general..
the site a little error.. sue them

Posted by tryp2nite on Apr-25-2001 22:57:

Be Cool!

Oh ok..
My friend also has the single.. and I got to see it..
My apologies then!

Lynx: And yes.. I know it was dumb for me to rely on one source..
