Linx - is that what this type of music is called - uplifting trance? I wasn't sure what to call it. I've been calling it epic/anthemic trance/house.

not all the tunes you listed in your playlist was uplifting trance. but a lot of it is, or resembles it yeah.

so i followed suit and listed a whole bunch of tracks that are either anthems in their own right, uplifters, or just really good driving tracks. all the tracks listed above have a LOT of energy.

I'm most of the way through the big list and a lot of these seem to be instrumental, and while a couple of them are good, I think I tend to mostly like ones with female vocals.

Btw, that en motion track in your first list... man that is a great piece that Ferry Corsten mixed in his Ministry of Sound June 12, 2002 set, which is my favorite mix ever! I only found Janeiro and the track that comes after it (the title of which I forget right now) from that set since they had lyrics and were easy enough to look up on Google. This track I dig too but didn't know how to find it. Awesome!

I do like a lot of CJ Stone's work, although The Sun (Goes Down) I think is terrible compared to the rest of his stuff. The vocals are poor, for one thing. Anyone else notice that?

Well, since you like vocals I'd certainally eccomend my personal favourite tune of the year, Lustral - Broken (Lustral Remix). And for a great CJ Stone remix with female vocals try The Joker - Release Me (CJ Stone Remix). Try anything by Space Brothers, the best vocal trance producers of all time in my opinion

Try these too:
Polaroid - So Damn Beautiful (Amethyst Remix)
Milk Inc - Breathe Without You (Extended Mix) <--- 'Cheesy', yes but looking at your playlist I reckon you should like this one, listening to it as I type. Some nice vocals in here.
