Just walk away, guys. It's over.
I remember seeing Tiesto and AvB at a relatively small venue back in 2004 or 2005 and it was actually a super fun night.
Of course I was 17 and on drugs, didn't know a damn thing about EDM. So it could have been awesome or awful. In my case: Awesome. The club I think only held 1000 people, but I'm pretty sure they let in way more than that despite regulations and shit. There was no air conditioning and to this day I don't understand how with all the pills (:gsmile
in my system I didn't overheat and die.
Back on topic though, it doesn't surprise me that Tiesto is pandering to a crowd like that.
He helped (how much is unknown to me) bring EDM into the "spotlight", and the results are a few people of the "old guard" who actively still seek out good, somewhat lesser known EDM and the other billion or so teenagers who will forget EDM by the age of 19. (And the 17-19 crowd may not even know who Tiesto is, but because of the drugs and flashy lights and boom boom tunes spend big $$$ to go see him).
Maybe he's like the Paul McCartney of EDM now or some shit to some people. Their older brothers or something partied to this guy's music and now they go see him because he's a "legend" but don't really get it. I dunno.
Fuck me. He doesn't even like the shit he plays at all. Sad.
he/ his mngmt blocked me on twitter and FB cause I keep telling him he is the biggest front runner when it comes to American sports
rip
he's a business man now. he seen this edm sound coming up and capitalized on it. he dont give 2 shits about the music or his fans now. just the awards and being in the spot light
its a shame. i think like 15 years ago when he was starting to make his name known in the music scene he really did care about the music and taking people on a journey

Still don't understand how people can dance to this sort of stuff, let alone enjoy it. No soul, no emotion, no groove. It's like the first time I heard Dubstep in a club - it seemed like people were forcing themselves to dance to it, not knowing why or how.
If I can't get my Stanky leg on what's the point?

Hommage to Richard Simmons? Is he with child or had a really big meal before the photo shoot? Mom jean shorts are hot.

| Originally posted by Scoops nothing derogatory I just kept busting his chops cause a few years ago he posted non stop how he I was the biggest New Orleans Saints fan...and then I called him out when he started tweeting about the seahawks or broncos he also pro-claimed himself as a huge fan of the Washington Caps...then the past 2 seasons, he was all over the NY Rangers... |

wtf why was there a "minions" balloon in that crowd too???
Also, Tiesto is 46 years old now. Not saying that just because you're older you can't do what you used to do; but man what a different man he is compared to 15-20 years ago.
Tiesto is now the Kobe of EDM. He will be making most of the shots until he retires.
You havent even seen Da Joker's final form yet.
