political conspiracy’s

Lately I have found my self very interested in conspiracies. There is a lot of crazy unfathomable shit going on out there, and no one will ever know the real truth.

Perhaps the truth doesn't really matter, because even if it is uncovered, we peasants can't do shit about it anyhow. Not only that, but it may be that hiding things, or keeping them secret is most successful by making so present that we just think that it's impossible or that the source of that is "off his rocker"

There are always going to be theories accusations and stories about many types of 'bad things' that "people of power" (i.e. governments) are up to.

Often it is very hard to believe that some things would exist, often it is very hard to believe some things would not exist, and sometimes it is very hard to find a credible source.

I recently found a book written by Dr. John Coleman called THE COMMITTEE OF 300. Here lies some very crazy shit. At first while I was reading it, I started to see how all this could fall into place, but as I read further it started to become further fetched.

Here is a link to take you to this massive report. The stuff he covers is so detailed, that it seems true -- and very scary, if what he proposes is in fact true. Basically what is being said here is that there is a secret society called the club of Rome which is apart of the committee of 300 that is working toward a one world government, and apparently its working. Or this could be some comic book villain crap.

Does anyone know any interesting conspiracy stories, or info on where I could find anything cool?

What do you think are some real neat conspiracy's that may not be out in the open enough?

I don't know mate, I think most of these conspiracy theories are some sort of new "legends" as monsters and witches were in the middle age. It's a human thing.

so I guess "they" are very successful at brain washing the people of brazil eh?

i dont think we can compare conspiracies to ""legends" as monsters and witches ""

there are conspiracies at my home, school, and work.
lies are everywhere and so are coverups

I'm just wondering if anyone wants to discuss thoes types that have mass affect on humanity.

I love them. They are good to me. In the end of the day they give me bread and circus

hehe, not really, I'm just a bit skeptic about this kind of thing. Some theories might be true, but it's hard to know what to believe. Therefore, I'd rather stay with what I feel.

Wow, it sounded deep

The funniest and far fetch conspiracies I've come to known to date is "the Black Pope" conspiracy. Look for it online. There is one interview done by the spectrumn pretty long but very bedtime read worthy.

Basically it tells how for the past 500 years everything and every puzzle of mystery can be sumed up by the black pope and his jesuits. From JFK and ML King jr assination, to the lunar trips, the bomb on Hiroshima, Napoleonic Wars, everything! It's the central and missing link to all conspiracies out there, so they claimed OMG I had a good laugh. But good paranoid trip if you allow yourself to it.

If any of it was true, don't you think "they" would have prevented the book from ever being published?

I always do but everyone else would rather just stay asleep in the face of such a harsh reality.

They try to either discredit me or marginalize me because of this but I don't really care because I've been above worrying about what anyone thinks about me for quite some time now.

Well you have to understand that these "legends" come from two things:

1. The fact that the government is the source of most research and currency on the planet.

2. Because of point 1, the government has the ability (and it is documented as fact as history) to do testing on human psychology, weapons, control structures, media propaganda, etc etc

It's only natural to be skeptical of politicians in my opinion. If you're wondering why these conspiracy theories exist, try googling a few of the items now available thanks to Mr Clinton's Freedom of Information Act:

Project MK-ULTRA
FBI's CARNIVORE system
CIA Assassination Manual
Chemical bacterial testing done over US cities (San Fran)
blah blah blah

I mean these are the people who made the atomic bomb a reality. That's some scary, fucked up shit that we've simply become normalized to.

I googled earth where I live one year ago, and saw full details of the military installations in my immediate area.

Today, my entire area on google earth is a giant black censor bar.

They're definitely not always as competent as we'd like them to be, are they? If an enemy of our country had been looking at that last year all he or she would have to have done was take some screen shots.

I guess it's just me but I don't really agree because I don't think that we should allow prying eyes (such as Chinese or N. Korean) the chance to see any of our critical infrastructure.

Now, allowing civilians to tour military bases is a whole different issue because I do think that the people definitely have a right to know what's going on with their tax dollars.

We'll agree to disagree.

The N.Koreans and the Chinese see our "critical infrastructure" already, I guarantee you this.

I think the strength of the population would lend us to a stronger system overall. Kind of like open linux VS windows.

You have a good point on both counts.

And hey, I'm all in favor of bringing back militia's

Here's another group that's determined to undermine (and thus ultimately destroy) our national sovereignty...

The Council on Foreign Relations

Here's some quick info regarding it's inception:

quote:
Morgan and Rockefeller involvement

The Americans who subsequently returned from the conference became drawn to a discreet club of New York financiers and international lawyers who had organized previously in June 1918 and was headed by Elihu Root, JP Morgan's lawyer;[6] this select group called itself the Council on Foreign Relations.[7] They joined this group and the Council was formally established in New York on July 29, 1921, with 108 founding members, including Elihu Root as a leading member and John W. Davis, the chief counsel for J. P. Morgan & Co. and former Solicitor General for President Wilson,[8] as its founding president. Davis was to become Democratic presidential candidate in 1924 .

Other members included John Foster Dulles, Herbert Lehman, Henry Stimson, Averell Harriman, the Rockefeller family's public relations expert, Ivy Lee,[9] and Paul M. Warburg and Otto H. Kahn of the law firm Kuhn, Loeb.[10]

The Council initially had strong connections to the Morgan interests, such as the lawyer, Paul Cravath, whose pre-eminent New York law firm (later named Cravath, Swaine & Moore) represented Morgan businesses; a Morgan partner, Russell Leffingwell, later became its first chairman. The head of the group's finance committee was Alexander Hemphill, chairman of Morgan's Guaranty Trust Company. Harvard economist Edwin F. Gay, editor of the New York Evening Post, owned by Morgan partner Thomas W. Lamont, served as Secretary-Treasurer of the organization. Other members related to Morgan included Frank L. Polk, former Under-Secretary of State and attorney for J.P. Morgan & Co. Former Wilson Under-Secretary of State Norman H. Davis was a banking associate of the Morgans.[11] Over time, however, the locus of power shifted inexorably to the Rockefeller family. Paul Cravath's law firm also represented the Rockefeller family.[12]

Edwin Gay suggested the creation of a quarterly journal, Foreign Affairs. He recommended Harvard colleague Archibald Coolidge be installed as the first editor, along with his New York Evening Post reporter, Hamilton Fish Armstrong, as assistant editor and executive director of the Council.[13]

Even from its inception, John D. Rockefeller, Jr. was a regular benefactor, making annual contributions, as well as a large gift of money towards its first headquarters on East 65th Street, along with corporate donors (Perloff 156). In 1944, the widow of the Standard Oil executive Harold I. Pratt donated the family's four-story mansion on the corner of 68th Street and Park Avenue for council use and this became the CFR's new headquarters, known as The Harold Pratt House, where it remains today.

Several of Rockefeller's sons joined the council when they came of age; David Rockefeller joined the council as its youngest-ever director in 1949 and subsequently became chairman of the board from 1970 to 1985; today he serves as honorary chairman.[14] The major philanthropic organization he founded with his brothers in 1940, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, has also funded the Council, from 1953 to at least 1980.[15]

Another major support base from the outset was the corporate sector; around 26 corporations provided financial assistance in the 1920s, seizing the opportunity to inject their business concerns into the weighty deliberations of the academics and scholars in the Council's ruling elite. In addition, the Carnegie Corporation contributed funds in 1937 to expand the Council's reach by replicating its structure in a diminished form in eight American cities.[16]

John J. McCloy became an influential figure in the organization after the Second World War, and he held connections to both the Morgans and Rockefellers. As assistant to Secretary of War (and JP Morgan attorney) Henry Stimson during World War II, he had presided over important American war policies; his brother-in-law John Zinsser was on the board of directors of JP Morgan & Co. during that time, and after the war McCloy joined New York law firm Milbank, Tweed, Hope, Hadley & McCloy as a partner. The company had long served as legal counsel to the Rockefeller family and the Chase Manhattan bank. McCloy became Chairman of the Board of Chase Manhattan, a director of the Rockefeller Foundation and Chairman of the Board of the CFR from 1953 to 1970. President Harry Truman appointed him President of the World Bank and U.S. High Commissioner to Germany. He served as a special adviser on disarmament to President John F. Kennedy and chaired a special committee on the Cuban crisis. He was said to have had the largest influence on American foreign policy of anyone after World War II. McCloy's brother-in-law, Lewis W. Douglas, also served on the board of the CFR and as a trustee for the Rockefeller Foundation; Truman appointed him as American ambassador to Great Britain.[17]

A little insight on how they like to go about business:

Timeline to Global Governance 1800 to 1969

quote:
"The powers of financial capitalism had (a) far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

- Carroll Quigley, former member of the Council on Foreign Relations and mentor to Bill Clinton (as quoted in his book Tragedy and Hope, 1966

quote:
"The main purpose of the Council on Foreign Relations is promoting the disarmament of U.S. sovereignty and national independence and submergence into an all powerful, one world government."

- Admiral Chester Ward, former member of the Council on Foreign Relations and Judge Advocate General of the U.S. Navy

Here's another good conspiracy which people pretend never happened (or could ever happen again)

quote:
The Business Plot, The Plot Against FDR, or The White House Putsch, was a conspiracy involving several wealthy businessmen to overthrow the presidency of Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1933.

Purported details of the matter came to light when retired Marine Corps Major General Smedley Butler testified before a Congressional committee that a group of men had attempted to recruit him to serve as the leader of a plot and to assume and wield power once the coup was successful. Butler testified before the McCormack-Dickstein Committee in 1934 [1]. In his testimony, Butler claimed that a group of several men had approached him as part of a plot to overthrow Roosevelt in a military coup. One of the alleged plotters, Gerald MacGuire, vehemently denied any such plot. In their final report, the Congressional committee supported Butler's allegations on the existence of the plot,[2] but no prosecutions or further investigations followed, and the matter was mostly forgotten.

General Butler claimed that the American Liberty League was the primary means of funding the plot. The main backers were the Du Pont family, as well as leaders of U.S. Steel, General Motors, Standard Oil, Chase National Bank, and Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. A BBC documentary claims Prescott Bush, father and grandfather to the 41st and 43rd US Presidents respectively, was also connected.[3]

An excellent documentary on the Iran-Contra Affair

Jack Brooks is the man!! He even mentions our shadow government in this video.

"What you saw in the Iran-Contra hearings was the exposure of the beginnings of a national security state which believes it has the right to override the Constitution of the United States in the name of national security."

Sound familiar?

Features interviews with government insiders and even CIA agents that aren't afraid to expose the truth about what happened. This short video was narrated by the late Elizabeth Montgomery.
