It is Friday - Part 41
What sayest you?
I'd really love to say I'm getting ready to see Slam in Manchester tonight. However, I'm actually going to lift some weights, read a book and do shit all for the rest of the evening.
Hopefully dying tonight.
CARNAVAL starts here in the south of our country together with Belgium and Germany, so even the peeps in the north start making funny vids, yeah it's vrijdag...
Saturday morning here. Just got back home from another hike, currently soaking wet since it decided to rain for most of the way back. Going to take a shower and head out for some food.
Currently playing video games, looking for graphic designers, and developing my podcast as well as a character for my twitch stream.
But all you need to know is I've been on a Jim Jones binge.
The guy has at least 5 songs dedicated to white women and quite often mentions white girl which can be interpreted as either cocaine or white women. Rappers treat white women as rare pokemon cards.
Hit the gym, did some packing for our trip next week. Now watching Portlandia.
Warming things with parts of my body.
Gonna go columbine on my chakras.
Gonna get a concubine who's obnoxious. Stood up to father time and my conscience.
Lost my wallet on the bus last night (knew it as the fucking thing pulled away, too).
I wasn't even drinking, either
Unfortunately, my rent money was in it. So I guess if it's not at lost and found Monday (with the cash, hahaha) that I will definitely be hitting the road earlier than expected. Maybe it's for the best..
I didn't die and if I turn 28 next week before dying at 27 I'm going to be so insanely mad.
Drank a Guinness Blonde and watched Rita Hayworth in Gilda. God I love that classic.
Just came back from a Carnaval playback show for the kids. My son's soccer team danced on this one. I guess our kids get to hear 303's at an early age
Bouncing Ball
And no headache from the beer, yet

Carnival here, so I've been doing what all Brazilians do on carnival: I should be catching up with all I was supposed to have done last month, but I'm making some noise instead
I've finally made a bass line I'm happy with.

I lost my phone on my weekend jog around the reservoir yesterday. Went back around this morning but no luck. Someone found it earlier called my parents. They thought I was dead and ended up seeing them while I was searching for my phone. Crazy day but all turned out ok.
Moral of the story don't jog with your phone in unzipped pocket.
Ha, I smashed my phone to pieces at the very end of my run today. I'd been out for three hours and my hands had gone totally numb in the cold. I use the running time on a long mix as my stopwatch, so I pulled the phone out of my pocket to pause the music. It fell straight out of my enfeebled and unresponsive fingers, dangled momentarily at the end of the taut headphone cable, then broke free and disintegrated merrily as it struck the pavement. "Son a fucking bitch!"
I've had good luck with UAG protector and thin glass screen shield. Dropped it on cement/asphalt numerous times. Losing/breaking smart phone is terrible all your shit is on it.
It survived on this occasion, I just had to pick up the composite parts up off the street (and drop them again repeatedly, because my hands were ungainly frozen claws). I have smashed the screen while running before. Turns out if you put a smart phone in the same pocket of some old shorts for long enough it will learn how to gnaw a hole in the fabric and tumble through to its death.
Ha ha, lol, Hardwell played a very old Dutch Carnaval track (1989) in Argentina. Of course nobody knew what they were dancing at.
There is a horse in the hall
I could've seen him last week, if only I knew he'd drop that, I'd have gone
