jamspot music networking app - help / feedback appreciated!!

Hey guys. I wanted to give you a heads up about a new project I'm involved with called jamspot.io. I've been a long time TA here and value your guys time, so if you can take a couple of minutes to read this and check out the link.. that would be great!

Basically, what we're doing here at Jamspot is scaling down the music industry for you in the form of a mobile app. With an intelligent user experience that connects professionals locally and globally, we're aiming to help you make the right connections. Whatever your involvement is in the music industry.. whether you're a dj, producer, label owner, etc... Jamspot's here to help you get you ahead. Using our SmartConnect technology platform, Jamspot actively connects you to the worldwide music industry based off your location, music skills, experience, genres and projects you are working on.

Hmmm... no mechanical engineer unfortunately. If you are in the music scene.. what role would you say describes you best?

That would be Promoter, but I'm sure people here would say pain in the ass fits me better.

I think it's better to keep it for the real professionals in music.

No I think you're missing the market here. Your app is clearly aimed at the High Velocity Forced Air Industry but just like most devs, you just can't see the woods for the trees.

I'm raising money in Menlo Park for a similar app. Love the stacked views, looking for asynchronous event-streams inside stack-views.
