I met Paul Oakenfold at Satellite Tonight!

Just wanted to share an interesting story with you fellow TA's:

I went to Satellite tonight to purchase some additional tickets for PVD (which happen to be $51 now!!!) and as I was previewing some new vinyl at a listening station, In comes Paul Oakenfold with Eddie Bang. At first, I was reluctant to say hello, but then I realized, I have respect for the man in terms of what he did for the scene, but Im not going to go BONKERS over the guy...i simply said hello to him, when he suddenly took the vinyl off my turntable and said "You Mind?"

I had a short conversation with him, which included his feeling about PVD...he said the man's a genius and friday night "should be great."

I didnt anything signed, simply because the money I spent on the PVD tickets left me with no money to buy an Oakenfold vinyl and get his autograph.....

According to a promotor for MADE events, they will be charging $60 at the Roxy door! So get your tickets now!

i bought my tix on friday...paid 41 a piece...now today i hear 50 (+1)...holy shit 60 at the door!

no..not about Oakey, but about the prices of the tix. I bought them for 40 a pop too, and I may need to buy another one -- $51?!? f'en NUTZ!

He didnt seem very friendly, and he looked like he just woke up!
One positive note is that he has high praise for the "better" Paul..hehe
