i'm tired of my life COR. might as well crash and burn.
which drugs should i start with? start me off steady because i don't even drink now so i'm really sensitive. gradually i want to take it up a notch.
Are you contemplating suicide or what? If so, don't start with drugs, start with seeking help.
Appletinis have ruined many a lass' life through unwanted pregnancy. Could be a start.
IMO you should start off sniffing scented markers (fruit scents) before switching to permanent markers and than to spray paint.
once you're comfortable with the effects move to injecting heroin into your cock vein.
after you can move into the crazy stuff such as inhaling mercury fumes.
when you've become an expert i recommend ingesting nuclear waste.
if you alter the order you may experience painful death

This will probably sound rather odd coming from me of all people; however, I recommend you don't start using drugs.
*waits for shock to pass*
Here's the thing... you state that you're bored of your life and this is your reason for wanting to alter your brain chemistry. This is a terrible reason to start using drugs. Essentially, you are looking to escape your shitty life, this is how a cycle of drug abuse starts. You're focused on the negative. Sure, drugs will add a layer of excitement for short period of time but once they wear off you're right back where you were... in your shitty life... only now you're sketchy and tired. You can't escape long term issues with short term fixes, you're only going to compound your problems.
Now, I'm not going to lie to you... drugs are great. They're a whole lot of fun. Using the right drugs at the right times will change you significantly, they can even make you a better person. The key here is "the right drugs at the right times." You're looking to escape... that's the wrong time. Drugs should be used to ENHANCE reality, not to escape it. Before you decide to experiment with drugs you really need to get your shit together, you need to be in a place where you already have a good life and you enjoy your life. Using drugs to enhance an already kick ass life leads to incredible experiences; whereas, using drugs to escape a shitty life leads to blowing 48 year old fat bald closeted men in a mini-van with child seats on the edge of a hobo encampment.
Fix your life first, then play with drugs.
Sounds like you've lead a safe but unfilled life and now are trying to hide from it instead of taking a risk and doing what you want. How sad.
attach a vacuum hose to the exhaust pipe of a car and breathe in
Iboga

By all means, IGK, share with us your extensive clinical knowledge of how depression is correctly diagnosed.
Can you guys wait a minute? My popcorn is nearly done
If you must get addicted to something, stick to caffeine and sugar: it feels good, and at worst you'll get fat and make gifs like these...

What are you talking about sugar is one of the leading causes of health issues in the US. Obesity, diabetes, tooth decay, heart disease to name a few. Btw that is a sweet animated gif.

I slightly (if not more) regret doing Iboga. If you're depressed/unstable enough that you're contemplating suicide, like I said before - don't start with drugs, start with seeking help.
I'm not a proponent of any "drugs," but I was looking up various clinical trials recently, and apparently they're now doing funded Ketamine trials for Depression. I've also read about Shrooms being used for depression associated with terminal illness years back in the New York Times.
Just seek help...don't be like me (and many others) and start self-medicating. More than likely, it's not a good idea and may only make you worse in the end.
Also, I hope everyone is aware that feeling depressed and having clinical Depression are two completely different things. Based on my own experience, I do believe that all mental illness may be a kind of chemical imbalance in the brain.
Whereas one who doesn't suffer from mental illness generally has control over his or her moods (and brain and thinking), one who does have a mental illness, doesn't have that control - certainly not to the same extent. It's basically like your brain has turned against you, and you have to fight your own mind just to survive.
I wouldn't wish mental illness upon my worst enemy - believe me, feeling "jaded" and bored with life is much better than having a mental illness. And I know that we tend to take life for granted when we are normally-functioning jaded (or not) individuals. When your "brain is sick," as my previous psychiatrist called it, you really get another perspective of ordinary, workaday life, and would do anything just to experience it again.
you should hire me as your advisor. only i can help you make all the right choices
Alpha I would never had thought you be the voice of reason. Btw, I respect anyone who can admit they made a mistake. Good post.
