nice job matching the phases

Really, what's the point in having one transition recorded. It means nothing. You could sit there for three hours trying to beatmatch it, then tried it twenty times till you got it right. Like someone else said, record a proper set and then get someone to listen to that.

Since I've listened to it, i might as well comment. I was perfectly fine, but that selector switch flick was a little bit off.

That what i'm saying. Nobody wants to hear one fucking transition. We know what a good transition sounds like. When you record a set, the listener is taken through a journey of created by the artist.

man give the dude a break i'm sure he's still learning and just wants some feedback. we all started somewhere, show some love...

Thumbs up

Sounds good to me..Everything seems to be nicely beatmatched and you brought in the incoming track nicely. Nice tracks btw.

ur transition was pretty stable, ur beatmatching was good...
but i didnt dig the blending between the tracks. it was good, but try and werk with ur eq's.

Posted by MERiDiAN5i2 on Oct-31-2002 23:24:

nice i'd agree, keep up the good work. beatmatching is right on, phrase matching worked out nicely.

thumbs up. i'm going to be critital though, thats why you posted the transition, right? heheh.. at about Tminus50seconds, I hear the highhats of the next track come in and i can notice this - it would have completed the smoothness to drop the treble about 6 or so DB (maybe 10 oclock on the EQ?) at around that time, and bring it back up to center around Tminus33seconds when the mix happens on the phrase change... minor though

other than that.. i'd like to hear more... post a set sometime
