Busy day of errands and what not. Supposed to go see my buddy spin tonight, but the weather is kind of shit and my husband isn't that keen on staying out past two am - his mother's birthday is tomorrow and we have to be in good shape for that, lol.

Tomorrow is my Sat to work, so tonight will be tame. But I'm old now, so it would probably be tame anyway. I did replenish my vodka stock with a good deal on 1.75L of Deep Eddy.

Yeah, literally 5 metres off my back deck. I'd kill for some hummingbirds though, they're fucking rad! We don't get them in Australia.

That's incredible (and a great shot btw). Hummies are cute but they go so fast - I really don't know how those guys take those stills of them - they never stay in one place for more than 3 seconds.

Yeah, they would definitely be challenging to photograph. You'd really have to set up a feeder or something so they stick around for a moment. That and a very fast lens on your camera.

He's all excited his decade-long crush (another friend of mine) asked him out after I told her he's interested... And he reckons it's too good to be true. So I was giving him some "pep talk" because I'll be incredibly surprised if she's not interested (and almost sent him an "is it a date?" calculator)

We talked about some common friends that went abroad, and I feel like I'm riding waves of nostalgia and memories. A tsunami, even. Like, tsunamemories...

Went to a house party full of burners to watch my friend DJ and hang out with a few other friends I hadn't seen in a while. Got to spin some fire with the hippies too, had 3 different girls all come up to me and hug me afterward. Was a good weekend, now dealing with post-cracked out in-house drama.
