Question Access Virus TI Keyboard

Sorry in advance if this is a basic annoying question but can you use the Access Virus TI keyboard as a midi controller in FL Studio for your soft synths? I know you can use the Virus itself as a plug-in with your DAW using Virus Control but wanted to know about controlling other synths in general via the USB connection. Thanks for any info!

Yup

The TI has a "Remote" function, which lets you create and recall custom MIDI controller configurations. No idea how well it works in FLS, though.

I've never played a better keyboard in 30-some years of being a keyboardist.

I've used the KC as my midi keyboard for over 10 years now, no intention of replacing it either

I don't think anybody who has spent any considerable time playing synths would describe a Fatar TP8/SK keybed as being wobbly or flimsy (unless you were playing a damaged one). It's widely regarded as one of the most solid and expressive performance keybeds in the industry.

Is it possible to run more than one instance of the virus while going thru Coax out to Coax in my Hilo thunderbolt?

Depends on how many Viruses you have. With the Virus Control interface, you are limited to one instance of Virus Control per hardware TI/TI2 synth that you have. But, each Virus Control/Virus instance is up to 16-part multitimbral.

You can only run one instance of Virus control no matter how many Ti's you have, although you can run Ti control and Ti control for Snow if you have a Snow and regular Ti

I was always under the impression that you could have two instances of VC if you had two TIs, but it looks like I was wrong. Oh well, there goes my GAS for a second Virus.

How about just running a virtual machine? If you have a powerful PC you can take the performance hit.

That might work! But I would can see it being an issue too. The vst will be connection through the same physical interface and the vst plugin might not be able to make a distinction between the two physical devices, ultimately connecting the 2 vst instances to the same physical synthesizer .

Kudos to anyone trying this out though

i'm mad that the TI snow doesn't have Coax out like the TI 2 desktop so i can bypass the outdated converter,
