i once saw this tune on a vinyl in my store labelled 999 Matrix - The Red Pill

Posted by vito on Nov-09-2002 17:44:

both the tunes mentioned in this thread have the same vocals
i got the las palmas tune, its ok but nothing like the sample

Madam Zu & Jon D - '999 Matrix 'The Red Pill' tune sounds different but i've only heard the 1st 1+1/2 minutes of it, i'll update if i ever get the rest of that tune

There's a breakbeat tune like this on the recent Crystal Method mix cd... but I dont think its a breakbeat song you are looking for.

the 999 matrix tune is some hard house thing

There is a track, one of my favorites of all time, that has these same samples and is titled "Wonderland." The artist is:

MFG - Wonderland

If anyone is looking for this let me know. Its one of the greatest psytrance tracks ever made IMO.

someone said it might be "mindflower - matrix" can someone confirm??

Re: Excellent 'Red pill, Blue pill' white label

It was most definitely MFG - Wonderland, and if it was on vinyl it would pretty much have to be a white label because they only released that song on CD.

The 12" Message EP was released by the Balloonia label and not the Phonokol. It included Dark Waters / Brain Waves / Feel Like God - but NOT Wonderland.

You have to let it all go, fear, doubt, disbelief.

Free your mind.

Have you ever had a dream, that you was so sure it was real?

This is your last chance, after this there is no turning back.

You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you wanted.

You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland.

So is it the same? I'm trying to figure it out but it's hard for me to tell by using such diminutive sound bites.

sounds nothing like it

It's hard because the introduction of most songs don't always match the lyrical refrain in the middle.

Who knows? I don't.
