Ben UFO tonight! Now I can find out if that timecoded vinyl from last time was his or Four Tet's.

I'm about to take an amtrak down to Chicago in a little bit.

also it's a couple weeks away and not on a Friday, but M83 is coming to Milwaukee of all places on the 19th, which d-res and I plan on attending. I heard his latest album sucks balls which is a shame but I'm such a big fan of M83's work from his debut to "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming" that I can let a bad album slide. I just hope his show isn't "i'm just going to play the new album"-like.

I'm going to Chicago in 2 weeks! The 21-24.


I saw M83 this summer at Osheaga in MTL. I'm not some die hard fan, but they are very excellent live.

I have a huge project due Tuesday morning, so I'm likely not doing anything but working on that. Nothing exciting here.

Starting ye olde annual 2 week vacation next week, so today is dragging ass at work, of course. Off to the cabin tonight with some Guinness Red Harvest, whatever the fuck that is. Also, since Pie resurrected teh jerk off thread, I might take some Astroglide. I hear it makes a Tiesto set go down easier.

I've had a crazy past couple of weeks, so I'm just trying to take it easy and unwind with a few shots at home. There's a chance I may get a paid fire gig this coming Thursday though.

I know, truthfully I would prob still choose Ben over Huckaby. I have seen Huckaby so many times in the D and, not that I don't really like him, but I pretty much know what I'm gonna get. I can't say the same for Ben, and the variety of music he plays is what I'm after.

This is only his second time to TO and my third time seeing him overall. I like to catch these guys before they get insanely popular over here, like I know he is going to continue to do. Last time with Four Tet there was the perfect amount of people in the club - and people who knew what the fuck was up, not just there for the flavour of the month bro tech house, or asking "WHO'S PLAYING TONIGHT??" Fuck.

Went to the live taping of Real Time with Bill Maher.

Was pretty good, apart from my somwhat conservative father in law was with us and I've never heard the phrasa "grab her by the pussy" said so many times.

Was probably one of the better weeks to go though.
