Do you think large trance mp3 collections are (will be) worth money?
If you have like an unbelievably organised trance mp3 collection of say 50 GB or something, with nearly all the good stuff from Rank 1, Push, Armin, Ferry, Tisto, etc..., do you think that is or will be worth money? Will there be online sales for that or something in like 5 years or something? What do you think?
Would be cool!
But I want give my stuff away, ever!
I'll copie all my mp3z and sell them at 10$ a track
Large mp3 collections make you a major sadder imo

No, unless they stop mp3 sharing. Coz lets face it, high-speed connections in the future will mean anybody can download a collection of 500 mp3's whenever they want.
Yeh then people like Airwave will stop producing tunes for labels
We nearly didn't get his album released coz of you leechers!
They won't, probably because if you were selling a large mp3 collection, it'd be like selling a whole load of stolen shit and keeping the money for yourself
he he, well thats the way RIAA or whoever would see it, unless they are all kidnapped and taken away or the laws change.
I've brought some mp3 cds of a ta before I got a cable connection. I brought each cd (roughly 60-70 traks) for 10 pounds each!

feck that!! Mp3's are free thats the beauty of them, day u start paying for mp3's is a sad day
hmmmmmm downloading of most MP3 is illegal so selling them on ?
download them for your private collection sure but dont sell them on, not only is it illagal but IMO morally wrong too.
U DLed them for free then expect to make money by selling them ?
its ppl like that, that makes the downloading of mp3 such a hot issue and why the riaa etc clamp down so hard on sharing of mp3.
and considering with most broadband users able to DL a 10mb mp3 in a few minutes, i don't think that they will ever be worth any money.

at the end of the day they're both illegial and none is less or more moral than the other. By that logic we should also shut down all the ripping groups as well, as they are distributing the mp3's for us to download from in the first place. Then we would have no mp3s altogether.

..selling something you had no hand in making, or paid for is evil? Well downloading something you had no hand in making, or paid for is exactly the same! If this case was taken up by the RIAA I don't think they'd back your argument. Both are the same principal. Anybody who downloads mp3's has no right to dictate what's "more illegial" or moral than the other.
Err...no.
you are all crazy......selling mp3's.....gosh.....that is pathetic.

Suppose someone is dying to get for example 'Moon Project - Apocalypse' and the tune is rare like whatever. And he's prepared to pay 25 for it. Who would give it to him and forget about the money?
Mmm, moral thing. I have EVERYTHING shared on the net, all my mp3's so this is all 100% hypothetical. Just performing a thought-experiment here...
seriously> if they wanted the damn mp3 so bad i would give them it, even for a trade or something, no way am i gonna take money off someone for a stupid mp3
I give my mates cd's full of mp3s to lend every now and again, selling them to em? wtf? there is a difference between downloading for your private collection and selling them on, think about it, your profting twice. Once by having the music for free and the money you would have otherwise spent in your pocket, and twice for selling it on and making even more money on top of that from it.
Selling Warez/mp3z will get u a free ticket too hell!! That's a fact!
I would never do such a thing!
So no , I don't think it will be worth any money...
