Friday - Part 81

Despite feeling shitty, we won't stop and we keep going on.

Tomorrow watch our daughter as she has to dance in the theater.

F1 in Liraland on Sunday

Anything else expect getting really drunk in order to forget this week?

My weekend to work, but switched my Sunday shift so I can go out tomorrow night. Woop!

Re: Friday - Part 81

Just working and working out.

Invaders are still occupying my department and the professors voted against a general strike. This is, by far, the most bizarre situation I've seen here at the university, because I should be able to work but ain't.

Not the most exciting week of my life, I guess.

Was thinking about going to an underground out in the Bay Area tonight, but with all this heightened post-political tensions, I think I'm just gonna sit things out for a few weeks. Not to mention all the liberal trust-fund babies are crying for secession now.

Giving my serotonin receptors a hard-earned break this weekend, especially as next Friday brings big bad John Digweed to town. I'm going to splash out on a new laptop tomorrow, which doesn't leave many spare pennies left for revelry.

I'm doing absolutely fuck all this weekend. It's going to be glorious.

forever in your debt. ill hook you up with shark teeth. the time is right

Posted by planetaryplayer on Nov-14-2016 03:43:

Party was pretty dope. Had a few small issues that didn't really impact me too much.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Nov-14-2016 04:59:

Was pretty rammed for the first hour or two. Really dope party though. lol @ not seeing you until you were on the way out!

Posted by planetaryplayer on Nov-14-2016 05:36:

I searched for you lol, it never dawned on me to check out that stretch. We hung out in the back room for a while. It was retarded packed but I can operate in those situations. The girl on the other hand is claustrophobic. Pleasantly surprised by route 8's selection. I forgot what floorplan song he dropped but I was losing it and trying to have sex on the dancefloor lmao

Posted by planetaryplayer on Nov-14-2016 05:37:

Not really but I was dancing like I wanted it lmaooo. Had jerk chicken too with spicy gravy. So dope !

Posted by Silky Johnson on Nov-14-2016 08:25:

Yeah love his style. I have no prob in packed places either. I'm pro at snaking through a crowd. My other buddy bailed and I thought it was better that way anyway. That crowd is a whole other crew of people, better to infiltrate it slowly, hahaha. I already recognized/connected with 4 other people I met at the two other jams I've been to.

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Nov-14-2016 09:10:

I can't stand sardine-tin dance floors. If there's no room to dance without being shoved in the back every three seconds then there's no point being there.

Posted by planetaryplayer on Nov-14-2016 09:39:

the dance floor was rammed but people were gracious enough to let you dance, the main issues were the walkways that were overcrowded.i can spot dance as well so i don't need much space. if say robert hood was playing in that venue then i would have had to use elbows to clear up vital space. it almost happened when he dropped a floorplan track . def prefer these popup-esque venues over coda and nest though lol

Posted by Silky Johnson on Nov-14-2016 12:07:

I rarely have trouble finding a spot to dance. I weave around when I dance so even on a tight floor I can do my thing. Footwork ftw.

Posted by wotyzoid on Nov-14-2016 14:20:

I go to the back if there's no space in the front and I start to get annoyed. But usually, and you guys definitely know this, there is usually like a flow in the dancefloor, streams of where people mostly walk and if you put yourself in a packed spot near it, you can get around the whole dancefloor to some really good spots without actually trying to move and just letting the dancefloor take you where ever. Instead of being stubborn and fighting for that one spot you have, if you actually give people the leeway you can surprise yourself and get to some really good spaces to dance at a party.
