What exactly is Instagram for?
I've been thinking about creating an Instagram account, but should I bother doing it before I get really shredded and travel the world shirtless documenting my every meal?
There has got to be more to it than this
It's great for selfies and showing the more visual side of yourself that you don't want your general Facebook to see, only enthusiasts. Personally I don't generally go for girls that don't have Instagram because they're not vain enough for me.
It's basically a site where you post the pictures you truely want to post. It's a place where you don't have every picture you get tagged in on Facebook, only the ones you truely choose are on there. You can also post a lot of selfies if that's what you want.
To stalk on fake girls' profiles and get fake bot followers.

If you're not interested in posting a lot of pics, then IG is likely a waste of your time, unless there are some people you particularly want to follow for the lulz or whatever. And, from what I see, most people seem to have their IG accounts linked to FB anyway, so you'll get the same pics on two platforms. Also, many #####Hashtags.| quote: |

I also find that random girls are way more likely to like your photos on Instagram than Facebook. So it's quite useful to know who might be keen.
I do have an Instagram account and I'd be interested in seeing other people's if they want to share. https://www.instagram.com/liam_h_david/?hl=en

For me, Instagram is an incredible tool for my job. It's free surveillance that documents all sorts of things I couldn't get an investigator to observe. You simply wouldn't believe the amount of times I'm reviewing a claim for someone who claims they are too injured to work but apparently they can hike, ski, travel, etc. I get a ton of evidence from Instagram that I just couldn't get otherwise.

I didn't make that comment to brag, I meant that as advice. In my experience the kinds of people that like your photos on Instagram is different to Facebook. This is the last place I'd want to brag about anything considering that comments like yours get made constantly. This is the last time I'm gonna respond to a comment like that though, it's just intensely negative and achieves absolutely nothing apart from bringing people's mood down.
Aww, you made the emo kid sad.
Depends. From what I can see it has two main uses: (1) Exhibit one's photography skillz. (2) Exhibit one's glamorous (or hard-partying) lifestyle.
Then there is this as well: http://www.foxnews.com/entertainmen...rostitutes.html

I prefer IG over FB these days. I don't post a lot of pictures and instead use it to follow a lot of people and groups. Anything from dog rescue groups, football, MMA stuff, music, fitness and some nature stuff. It's pretty cool yo! Plus I feel it's a little less drama compared to FB. Give it shot and follow stuff you like.
