Work Christmas party this evening. It's a sit-down meal followed by the thrilling prospect of Elton John and Robbie Williams impersonation acts. I've also only been with the company for four months so still barely know a lot of people there, which could get awkward. Frankly the whole thing promises to be completely shit, so I'll either bail early or anaesthetise myself with alcohol from the open bar and vomit all over my MD's pinstripe suit. Probably the latter.

This is a quintessential slice of UK company life, and along with the tabloid culture, it's one of the things I'm so grateful I'll never have to experience again.

I went to maybe three or four of these things during my career in London and they were all like this; people you don't really know but are being forced to socialize with, bad music, bad dancing and mediocre food with people you already spend 40 hours a week with. Please vomit over his pinstripe. Do it for the c0r.

Whole lotta nothing. Family Christmas party tomorrow which is always tons of fun.

take a bunch of ex lax too. i'd recommend tapping someone of the shoulder then forcing your fingers down your throat for dramatic effect

My Thursday was much more exciting than my Friday. I watched Sully with a pilot (me dad) who kept telling me what was (un)realistic. And, I copped my first collab since I got into streetwear later this year: A Puma x Alife sweatshirt that looks so hideous it's awesome! Yup, it's a fish tank



As for today, I'm tidying up the flat so ma petite can move back in. Nothing major.

I'm on Amazon right now trying to decide if a Dyson cordless vac would make me want to vacuum. I have this heavy canister vac that I hate dragging around.

I'm working the entire weekend just thinking about it is making me tired.

Tonight I have an epic party (hopefully) to attend: Hernan Cattaneo b2b Guy J

Its ted's turn to host xmas dinner this year and I need to go gift shopping for the arrogant asshole. Im thinking he could use a pair of leather socks. Then I plan to enjoy a big bowl of corn flakes with a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of sugar and finger my remote until I fall to sleep. Boring yes but things will pick up for me in the new year.

I wish this forum was taken over by wrestling alts instead of dumb bots like ViceroySF.

Just finished a shift, got 2 more to go then a couple days off until the day shifts Man, I hate day shifts. Can work early and late night shifts any day of the week but day shifts? NOPE.

I ended up picking up an extra overtime shift too on December 24th. My boss asked me if I was serious I really don't have anything else to do on that day. I'll be sitting around doing nothing until my shift ends anyways so why not get some extra money.

Thankfully I have Christmas day off, but working Boxing Day and New Years. Oh well, moar money

The Christmas party wasn't as bad as I thought. Didn't stop me thoroughly poisoning myself though. At one point I was being bought drinks simultaneously by two people while I still had a full one in my hand. This morning is painful.

What's your beef with Guy J? He's playing an open-to-close set in Liverpool next year and a few of us have bought tickets. I get that he's quite "safe" prog, but don't you like his DJing?

No more drinking for me, I'm with seed. Stoked that it happened so quickly, but now I have to enjoy the holidays sober. At least my husband's family is awesome.

I don't like his DJing no. The one time I seen him it nearly put me to sleep. Needless to say I didn't give him a second chance. Now that I cut prog out I'd only really go see hernan
