Friday Part 88 - Party like it's almost 2017!

So, what are your plans for the eve of the New Year's eve?

Me? I'm probably going to my wife's favourite restaurant to celebrate her return with Japanese food (she likes) and chips (I like)

We're having people over. Serving some apps and champagne, etc. Just finished making a sweet playlist of tunes.

Going for a meal with some friends and then back to someone's house for a B2B mix-up into the early hours.

New Years has the opposite effect on me, makes me depressed looking at the big picture, what I haven't accomplished and how am I going to do better next year. Finding meaning and happiness in life can seem a bit daunting. Looking forward to lunch out tomorrow with friends. Nothing too exciting.

I used to be like that. I'd start moping around on Christmas and it'd get worse up until my birthday in January. It was an uncomfortable limbo, in which I'd stop against my will (because of the holidays) and there was a lot of uncertainty. Then the holidays became just a theoretical concept in graduate school, and I don't even know what day of the week it is now... So it got better

I'm sounding like a regular Debbie Downer

Looks like I'm going down to the beach at Santa Monica to watch the sun set on 2016 then off for drinks.

Thank fucking god 2016 is nearly over. One of the hardest years but just im the last week started having good news again and ready for 2017.

Wishing all my TA's a happy new year!!

Still haven't the faintest idea what I'm going to do. Been recovering from 3 days full of 12 hour shifts this week. Now that I suddenly have free time, what do?

Woke up this morning and realized I'd totally forgotten last night was NYE. Damn, I'm old.

QFT. Didn't even finish my Foster's Oil Can (TM) last night. Sushi will be pleased, at least.

I stayed up til 5 am with the crackers without drugs or alcohol! Feels simply like I worked a night shift.

When in doubt, kick it with the homies. Good New Years, glad I survived 2016.

Stayed up until about 8am playing tunes and getting messy, woke up at about 2pm and simply carried on drinking and mixing. Best NYE in ages.

If anyone wants to hear the product of aforementioned mixing, you can find it here: http://tranceaddict.com/forums/show...73#.WGwLlxuLRPY
