Here's a recording of a B2B set I played with my good friend Rob on New Year's Eve. Recorded mainly for the benefit of our mates but I think there's plenty here for TAs to enjoy. The style is a little slower and groovier than you normally get from me, with house, techno, acid and prog all featuring. In case you're wondering, we did two tunes on, two tunes off from start to finish, and I went first.

Some of the mixing/flow is slightly wobbly as we didn't know each other's tunes, but perfection isn't to be expected during an unplanned B2B house party set. Any comments are appreciated, as ever and always.

Taking the train to DC for a video game music convention tomorrow, this'll definitely keep me occupied on the ride when I get bored with playing Dragon Quest 7 3DS (not too likely, but still )

Very nice mix, I love the addition of Future of the Future. A classic track that brings back a ton of memories for me. The mix has a slow, smooth buildup but really starts to take off after that one drops!

I didn't even mind the mixing, I know you said you guys weren't familiar with each others' songs but I still think you worked the mixing very well - only thing I noticed was that you guys waited a bit long in some of the tracks to mix out (this is something I do a lot too :P ) but this is FAR preferable to any type of key clashes or clanging.

Cheers guys. I do think the first half in particular has a lovely build-up given it was completely off-the-cuff. I was definitely the guilty party with leaving the mix until late, as Rob doesn't worry about trifling matters such as key clashes, but I don't think it harmed the flow at all.
