Jack Moss - Live @ Repose 001 12.02.17 [Ambient Electronica]
Last weekend I played the closing set at a new ambient/electronica event in Leeds. It was a cool little event on a Sunday evening. An almost totally dark room with only candle light and people sitting and lying down on the floor, chatting and listening to the music.
I thought the set came out very nicely and since I haven't put out anything ambient since I finished doing the Absorb radio show, here it is:
01. Phaeleh - Orbits [Undertow]
02. I Awake - Nevertized [Ultimae]
03. Atlas - Compass Error (Tarrantella Vs Redanka Dubbed Version) [Plastica RED]
04. Miika Kuisma - Abyss [Subtraxx]
05. Robert Babicz - Curious Heart [Traum Schallplatten]
06. The War On Drugs - The Haunting Idle [Secretly Canadian]
07. Speedy J - Lanzarote [Warp]
08. Arne Weinberg - Syial (Stephen Brown Remix) [aDepth Audio]
09. Biosphere - The Things I Tell You [Touch]
10. Acronym - Mu 5 [Northern Electronics]
11. DjRUM - Induction [2nd Drop]
12. ASC & Synkro - Borderline [Auxiliary]
13. Dusky - Skin Deep (Global Communication Dub) [17 Steps]
14. The Future Sound Of London - The Wheel Of Life [FSOLdigital]
This paired nicely with a badly needed Sunday Morning Yoga session. Gave me time to heal and repair my body and mind with some music that made me feel like I was floating aimlessly in outer space. My favorite tune was easily ASC & Synkro - Borderline. Very well put together, I can imagine this went over nicely in a dark and chilled out room. Well done.
This was absolutely perfect for my horrible, terrible, no-good pounding hangover this Sunday. Definitely going to get more listens to me - I used to love your Absorb stuff and have been disappointed with your lack of similar stuff since you closed the book on that chapter (although, I mean, not THAT disappointed, since we got all the Rapid Transit and other progressive stuff from you
).
I don't think I completely understand the concept of the event you played it at, but I hope there was a good turn-out - not for your sake, but solely for my own selfish reasons, so that I'll get to listen to more sets like this from you
I hadn't actually looked at the TL before listening, so I was nicely surprised by Compass Error, but I really couldn't say I had a highlight other than that, as the whole thing was just an excellent little journey. Nice one

Well, I meant more than everything just worked really well together. Obviously that track is phenomenal! Would love to grab a vinyl copy someday; should probably do it before prices get too ridiculous, like most of his stuff.
He's playing at Fabric tonight, but unfortunately I have prior plans with some people. Mightily tempted to 'feel ill' and leave the night early to swing by that... Probably going to be better than when I was the only person to see him at MoS a few years back, hah.
Are there plans to do another night like that in the future?
Downloaded this when you first posted it, but I didn't get around to listening to it until this afternoon (popped up in my queue without knowing it was yours).
Just wanted to add that I enjoyed it very much. I'm stressed about finishing this project and it mellowed me out a bit. Super chill and smooth mix.
Gracias
Just seen this bump. Cheers, glad you enjoyed it.
