my god .. he must've gotten sick of u asking for stuff to be signed

Posted by DJ Dowlz on Nov-03-2002 12:30:

True, true! But I didn't do them all at once. I handed up the paper about 3rd song in and once he'd read that, he was happy to sign everything I threw at him. Ligaya, Tenshi, Pocket Damage and Carte Blanche he signed as he was playing them and the rest he signed at the end.

Mind you, at least I wasn't as bad as some people who were getting $10 notes and cigarette packs signed. FFS...

P.S. Like the new sig?

Posted by webmeister on Nov-03-2002 12:37:

hahah sig is cool! i didn't notice that before

Posted by dj_helen_k on Nov-03-2002 13:01:

Posted by Lanithium on Nov-03-2002 14:49:

u took all those to an event?

crazy!

Posted by stamper on Nov-03-2002 23:11:

haha, nice work dowlz. At least he was getting records signed. Some of the nuts got some weird stuff signed like $10 notes, cigarette packs and red bull cans. Crazy!

Hahhahahah, dowlz, did you just dance all night, holding 8-9 vinyls in your hand to get signed

Posted by fzrr on Nov-04-2002 00:59:

Now that was a jolly good effort Dowlz!!

LOL. No way! Jules brought a bag and we threw everything in there, placed it up the front directly to the side of the DJ booth (it was all a temporary stage setup). There weren't any wankers there (except for this one drunk guy who kept hitting the stage and making the record skip) so there wasn't any issue with security - and anyway, we could see our bag the whole time.

DJ Dowlz: nice fucking work on getting all them vinyls signed, I think I will take in my gouryella - gouryella record

and nice signature... I love it

Also, here's a nice pictures of mr_stamper and I going aboslutley mental to Carte Blanche - note that my copy is lying on the stage waiting to be signed

Posted by webmeister on Nov-04-2002 11:54:

that pic looks odd .. not only because the TAs AREN'T in the front row
also because the chick in red at the front with her arms up looks like she's about 12, and the woman in black behind her looks like her mother

OMG - I never noticed that. Probably too busy listening to Carte Blanche pounding throughout the place But there is a reason why we're not up front - you couldn't see Ferry properly, cause the stage was raised. Trust me, mr_stamper and I were in the absolute prime viewing, dancing and listening position!

BTW, Ferry's face when he saw my piece of paper on the stage:

Nah he's not actually holding the video camera. Its sitting on a tripod if you look closely. There was one guy who had a video camera but they told him off.

Yah, Ministry were fricking Nazis I would have loved to grab my hands on the recording of that set!
