yes, i can't wait for the final release next year. this alpha was fun while it lasted. incredible eye candy. tho i'm sure the final version will require less in terms of high-end hardware. even a geforce4 couldn't match up to this. the only card i know of is the radeon 9700. it does well when most, if not all, the display settings are maxed.

look damn good that game

Game will be really great, well the alpha version looked great, but it didn't run well on my system.

The Radeon 9700 chipset will only be able to run the game at full detail in a resolution of max 640x480.....so not very impressive ...ahum.....

This alpha made me cream my pants. The graphics are amazing, sure it only ran at 3 fps, but its just an alpha. I can not wait for the final version to be released. I will defineatly be upgrading my computer when it is released. This is the next step forward in gaming i think.

Similar to what quake was 6-7 years ago.

wow, my new computer runs it pretty ok. P4-2.7GHz with Geforce4 Ti4200 64MB. very impressive 3d stuff. The lights swinging, and the bad guys, reflection off the glass... Kinda dark, like quake1's brown, but it creates a neat atmosphere. Amazing graphics, I wonder how good it is single player and multiplayer? ID makes awesome multiplayer games, but their single player story line usually consists of: everyone in your squad is dead, and its up to you to save the world.

I'm a hardcore q2 player. anyone wants to get pwned, gimme a shout.

quddha no doubt this will be the same story, but better. They have actually hired a sci fi writer (he also helped with 7th Guest, 11th Hour if you can remember those games) to help write/extend the story. Should be good, i cant wait for the final
