Why i am mad
I went to go see PVD at meltdown in Dallas TX. He came on at around 12 and stopped at 2 AM. Only two hours. I felt so cheated. I travelled 3 hours just to see him and he only spins for two fucking hours. Not only that but at the end he started playing Marco V - I feel you (PVD mix) and just cuts it off 2 minutese into the song. He just teased me with that song. I was singing my ass off and then he just cuts it. What is up with the guy. His set was good but way too short. Out of 10 i give the whole event a 7.
he must have left his head in NYC. his 6 hr set here was AMAZING!!! he liked it so much that he decided to come back on monday for a 4 hour set for $10!!!!
i love NYC....
Dont feel bad. Last time I saw Tiesto he played about 45 minutes cuz of flight delays (or something)

meltdown 4 had a number of headliners, and trance doesnt quite have the following in texas that it should.. so they other headlines had to get good sets in too.
2 hours is alot man.. after two hours of any DJ i'm ready for a change.. unless its ME on the decks!! i can spin for hours upon hours :P
ummmmmmm 2hrs is a lot? It's nothing...I get a two hour warm up before the main dj even comes on here! a 3 or 4 hour set is just right and 6 hrs?? Damn...first time I saw PvD he dropped a 4 hr set and then spun for about another hour and a bit extra. Was sooooooooo good.
the only real long set i've enjoyed was from tiesto.
over 5 hours. he was having farrrr too much fun.. enough fun that the DJ after him (the last DJ on the lineup) got turned away by tiesto, as he refused to give up the decks. the club lights came on, he was still cueing yet another track. they ended up turning off the amps, then he seemed to plead for a few more min, and they obliged so he could drop silence as his last track with the full house lights on.. talk about wild.
if I was spinning that night, i wouldnt have wanted to give up either.. he literally had the whole crowd in a true trance... and it was a DOPE venue.. and the crowd was so into his set!
well, i have to disagree and say that was an awsome night... i had so much fun and PvD was amayzing... better then last years show in houston

Lmao...the clubs close at 2? WOW...we got clubs like that here as well, but nobody really acknowledges them as real clubs. 2am is when the party starts here...
I have to disagree as well.
I took the same drive to see Bond and Aude as well. Fact is, PVD had to drop the set. It was clear he wasn't allowed to continue, and no DJ in his right mind is gonna cut off a set like he did. So I had no probs with it.
From Scott Bond, to Dave Aude, to PVD, I can't complain with that lineup, not in this state. Every DJ had fair time to drop their vinyl, kept the crowd alive, one DJ after another.
i know somone who went there.
and he huged pvd :/ yeehaw.
only 2 hours?
maybe you and a lot of other people are generally spoiled and get 6 hour sets, but some of us live places where 2 hours is a lot, or normal.
