Girls night. We're going bowling at a nice sketchy bowling alley, the only way a bowling alley should be!

Ideal.
Meh, I'm going to bed.
Getting a lot of sleep. Then upping my pool game tomorrah.
Cleaned the winter tires this afternoon, but it's cold enough to put them back under the car...
Football match tomorrow morning at nine, no training this evening as the kids had King's Games today (a colorful sporting event for all primary schools).
And I did what I thought I would never do again, I both some cd's (after 15 years or so).
some fagz hit me up with some ketamine at this helena hauff show, they danced like fairies after a bump and i got sleepy. does taking cock in ass alter drug reactions ?
Went to London, already come back. Hernan Cattaneo B2B Nick Warren at the Ministry. I'm not convinced they gel too well together as a duo, but good lord the tuneage.
Spent a few hours at the cabin last night, listening to it rain on the metal roof. Now listening to it rain again...drought = busted.
helena hauff show was dope ! so much diversity of sounds that day by the whole lineup. always a pleasure to hear electro at a jam. i feel like volunteering for the next party. watching tv today. life is pretty good
^^^ Where was it?? I stayed out later than I thought, totally could have gone, but I dunno if the girls I was with would have ventured into unknown music territory (for them).
in another building on geary close to the time we went to lobster showcase. a different building on the other side on the upstairs. way less crowded ! bigger space too. the dance floor was really crowded though but more side area. mcdonalds was right across the street too ! the line was on the inside on the staircase. it was easily missed if you're just driving by. curious if they get proper licensing for these jams
Ughhh McD's right across the street?? Ughhhh as if! Geary has a few dope jam spaces on that strip, not surprised at all.
Well bummed I didn't think to check it out last night. :/
Also proper licensing, ew! Gimme dat cheap illegal booze til all hours!
Illegal yes ! Cheap no ! You had to get tickets off this one guy . 4 tickets for 40$ ! But they give you a fifth for free
Ok that's steep, lol. I love booze cans cause (usually) drinks are only 5 or 6 bucks.
No security checks either. Saw people bring in bottles and vapes. Next one def going to attempt such things myself
I feel surprisingly okay today, considering that I definitely blacked out at one stage last night, didn't get to sleep until 8am, and woke up at 12pm. I was expecting to feel completely destroyed! The older I get, the more these next days feel like complete hell.
Cattaneo and Warren at Ministry was fucking great, though more so Cattaneo than Warren. Warren played a few of the new Way out West tunes which are just a bit too treacly for my palate, but for the more part he was solid and Cattaneo was brilliant. Will definitely be wanting to see him again in the future!
I foolishly declined an invitation to talk about North Korea on national television.
I hesitated because I'm a linguist who likes philosophy, not an expert on foreign relations... And the only person I know who tries to cover all three fields is not exactly someone I look up to (in spite of all the hype). I sort of regret it now, because there aren't (m)any experts on NK here anyway, so I'm not sure it was the right time for intellectual humility.
I got to sleep in though, so I had it going for me, which is nice.
Surely, Lira, you could have just talked about language and foreign affairs, and kept philosophy out of it?
What did they want you to talk about? Would you do it if they ask a second time?
Always nice to sleep in
