Radical changes

Radical change 1:
I'm moving out of home in acouple of weeks, so I won't have a PC or access to one for a while. So no more TA, no more DC, no more TRACKS. I'll have fun trying to survive. Upside, gonna save for decks (hopefully CDJ100s and DJM500) to start up DJ business with a friend. Never know though, might be able to get my paws on a pc for cheap, real cheap. If not, I'll miss the entertaining reading these forums provide me and might have to stay the night at my parents' just to get a fix.

Radical change 2:
After seeing one of my closest friends go through psychosis the day after a big night, I've decided to quit the scene for 10 weeks and make a return for Summadayze. This i think will also prove to myself that I really am in it for the music and the atmosphere and not the drugs.

At the moment I'm supposed to be studying for exams, so I might not be around as much.

Let the fun and games begin.

Wow, what an exciting time! Moving out of home is one of the best things a guy can do for himself. You'll get a new sense of exactly who YOU are. And sorry to hear about your friend -- but it's good that you've taken this opportunity for a 'substance audit'. It's always worth constantly re-assessing your reasons for doing certain things. At any rate, if you decide to get back into the swing of things, Summadayze is going to be a stunning day out!

All the best!

Best wishes Mikrop!

Good to see you're not rushing into things and thinking carefully!

I myself, can't wait to move out and get my own joint!!! Have absolutely no idea when that will be though LOL

Hope your friend is okay, psychosis is scary stuff.

Cheers!

Hey, in regards to having no pc, you should be able to pick up something decent for around $300 these days. Anyway if you are unable to do this, all the best!
I'm sure we'll all still be here when you return.

Good luck with the moving out mate.

I came within about 90 minutes of signing a lease with my mate until he baulked after deciding he couldn't afford it (he got shafted by Aus-Study). Pretty glad he told me 90 minutes before and not 90 after though.

You moving out alone or with someone else?

Hey Mikrop need any support give me a ring, I know it sounds weird and I couldn't be much help financially....and we've never really talked....but hey if things get desperate try 0402778978....god TA is a weird community

Hope everything goes well for you...

I'm getting a job with Tec-Tonic in Camberwell/Glenferrie/Hawthorn sort of area that does Sound/Lighting/DJ hire (as a dj and sound/lighting set up). Which should be fun, but if you're really serious about starting up a DJ business/company I'd be more than happy to even work for free to help you get started. I enjoy it so much it wouldn't really bother me.

Best of luck again, try and keep in touch with everyone anyway (even if it means going to the library to use their internet lol)

Hybrid Junkie...
