Which genre do you think is better live!?
Which genre do u think is better suited for the live performance. The reason i ask this question is that i jus came from a live performance where guys were throwing prog. down and i HATE prog or rather strongly dislike, but at the party i was goin nuts, personally im an uplifting guy myself. I knoe hearing songs live make them better but does it really make them that much better, so much to make u listen to another genre u once disliked? So which genre do u think is better live?
I rather see any dj live.
hardcore is best to hear live, unless you have such speakers like in my sig at your home
Hardstyle ( Technoboy,Isacc) Or Tech Trance (Katana)
But Tomcraft - Loneliness (Klub Mix) 0wnz you all
trance probably
if in doubt, drum n bass
Dunno what prog sounds like live.....Will find out this friday when i see Sasha for 3 sick hours.
TRANCE N' BASS
Progressive is fucking awsome in a club, It makes me completly
lost in music and It`s a great feeling.

I used to hate prog too until I started seeing good prog DJ's, now I like it.
drugs -- uplifting
if i want to dance -- anything else esp prog. prog is good cause you dont have people standing around looking confused cause there is no bass. i can dance to uplifting all the time, but then you look like youre on drugs, and with no one else dancing you look like an ass. late|
prog is for peopel who want to get there groove on and r too scared to look silly when dancing
uplifting trance is for everyoen who wants to feel exhilerated by everything and away from it all
hard trance is for peopel who jsut want to lose it, usually look silly when dancing but dont give a fuck

sweet melodies make me feel like i am in heaven.

I myself love progressive house, to prog trance, but i know, that if i go to any different genre, you get into it as much as the others.
First of all, the sound of a club makes you feel the beat in your body, and the sound it's amazing, so you can hear things you don't hear the same at home, or with headphones, and the energy of everyone, if it's agood party, whatever it is i'll get into it and enjoy it......
and another factor that give a lot of people the easy way to get into another genres, guess what??? drugs...
Definatley Prog House. That shit was MADE to dance to, I love it in clubs, but I cant listen to it at home, it bores me.
I have to agree with a few people on here. Progressive is good to dance to. For my self that only came when i heard a good DJ play it.
I used to hate that shit. Well thats cause it was shit. Shitty slow ass progressive ruins it for you, soooo boring. When you hear it and its played at the right speed at the right time its awsome.
Trance is the best when you have a good Dj who knows how to get the crowd into it. To do that though you have to have an ear drum destroying system. Then trance becomes what its ment to be. Full emotion and entrancement.
Good ass house can be fun aswell if its got that mad funky ass basslines that drive a floor crazy.
But with every genre the volume and the speed have to be turned way up !

TRIBAL for sure! Will never forget the first time I saw Saeed & Palash, and heard Milo- Jungle of Mirrors...
following that Progressive for sure. You need to feel the massive beat, and a very goud sound stytem to aprpeaciate all the different layers of sound.
I find that i'm alot less picky at live events than i am like, in my car or in my house.... 'cuz at a live show you have so many other factors... lights, BASS... etc. When i'm at home i find i listen to the music itself more...
BUT... if i'm at a live show and they are spinning T R A N C E..... especially U P L I F T I N G T R A N C E...... oh man..... it's just the greatest experience ever.....
so yeah. Trance rulz.
progressive hard trance... blows my mind
