Production FTP

The production ftp site is setup and running smoothly. Please read this document and PM/Email me for additional information.

The FTP is located at:
bassheavy.net or
24.100.214.165
port 21

--------------------------------------------------------------------
This site is strictly for production related files and documents and is in no way related to the tranceaddict.com website.

A few rules that must be followed:

1) No uploading of copywritten or commercial material. This site is designed for sharing of music related files which are free or made and uploaded by the producers themselves.

2) This is a semi-private site, please do not share your login information with anyone. All traffic is logged and I will know if you give your account info to someone else

3) Uploading:

A)Feel free to upload as much stuff as you like (as long as it
complies with rule #1) just make sure it is virus free.

B)Every week or so I will move newly uploaded material to a directory which you only have READ access to. This means once the files have been moved to the new directory you may only download them. If you wish to remove something you uploaded before the 7days you can do so with your account. After the 7days you must contact me and I will remove it for you.

C) The organization of this site as it grows is up to all of the users. I do not have the time to go through everything that is uploaded and sort it. Please try and keep everything grouped appropriately and it will make all of our lives easier!

4) As i've mentioned, this ftp is semi private for the trance production community. I do not advertise it, nor do I want to. If you or someone you know wants access and is involved in some form of trance production they can email me. Once I am sure that the individual has good material to contribute I will grant them access.

5) I will not tolerate people uploading crap. If you just upload junk, you will be banned, plain and simple. This site is not for leechers.

This site is for everyone's enjoyment and learning, please use it accordingly.

If you have any questions, comments, feedback, sugestions let me know.

read rule 1... no illegal things, so no software unless its free
samples should be oke, as long as they dont have copyrights on em hehehe

Samples are fine, uploading a whole purchased sample CD or samples taken from a pay site is not.

you can also upload tracks in rns format, in order to let people learn about mixing and mastering techniques in Reason, but for a presentation of your new track in mp3 you'd better take mp3.com and make a link on tranceaddict to your track.

Can i suggest that people upload flp files as well, not everyone uses reason, there are loads of other alternatives out there as well

fruity, orion, buzz machines, cubase, logic, sonar, etc.

Either way, great idea rahvin
