Bowling for Columbine ... ?
has anyone else seen this movie .. ? i just got a chance to check it out this week with my gf .. and i must say i'm very impressed !! Michael Moore did a pretty good job this time. excellent movie and probably one of the best i've seen this whole year..
it got rave reviews at Cannes (won an award) and at the Toronto Film Festival as well ..
if any of you don't already know what it's about check out ..

it has a LOT to do with what is talked about in this forum especially
sorry .. i didn't know that there was already a thread about this movie in the guns / NRA topic ..
wells my bad .. i still think the movie is worth seein tho !
from a Canadian standpoint.. most of us found it pretty funny. not the killing and death mind you , just the interviews ..
ya i actually heard about that one day while cruising the internet. Micheal Moore was a frequent guest on Bill Maher when it was on ABC. i really want to go see it, however it wont be showing in my city, maybe ill grab it on video or see it when im in the big cities...
thanks for putting up that link
everything michael moore has made is interesting or at least eye opening. hope to see this one. always forget about interesting shit like this when it comes to movies tho! late|
Wonder if this will ever make it to Australia?
Sounds very interesting....
It's not censored in the States, but it's fairly rare outside of major metropolitan areas...
I was lucky to see it last weekend, and as I referenced in the Sniper & Gun Control post, I thought he had a lot of interesting things to say, not just about gun control, but about America in general.
The fear paradigm bit really made me think, and I'm beginning to agree with Moore that's it's a dominant factor in US culture right now...
Love to post more, but have to head off to class now...
This won't be showing in the theatres in my college, very Republican town. But hey, I can probally get it when it comes out on video, can't wait, I live Micheal Moore's work. You can't help but have your mind opened.
