Does anybody on TA forums own 4th generation Toyota Supra?
It's my dream car, so I'm just wondering if any of TAs have such a pleasure to drive this damn car. I even haven't seen it in real life, only in pictures, cos there are no supras here in Lithuania .Plz, don't think that there are no cars at all in Lithuania. There are lots of new sport cars here, but supra is too rare to be here.
Anyway, what do you think about this creature? Do you think it's worth to pay $25,000-$40,000 for it?
Cheers
I have driven one, its a nice car my friend has one. I personally have a RX-7 and i love my car hehe. Me and my friend like to race for fun all the time... of course i win
they are nice cars but they are dyno queens...which means they put out big numbers on the dyno but yet most of them run 12s.
i have to find many out on the street that i can play with.
there are some very fast ones id be reluctant to race on the highway however

How's that old joke go?
What do 400hp, 600hp and 800hp Supras have in common?
-They all run 12s.
Or something along those lines. Supras are wicked highway racers, not much good off the line w/o slicks. Unfortunately one of the faster locals running a T66 (and putting out 626 rwhp, which keep in mind is at 5,260 feet) sold his to a guy from Arizona. We still have a few fast ones out here in Co though. I wish I was one of those lucky bastards.
At least I have boost though.

When I said "$25,000-$40,000", I didn't mean that such price is in Lithuania. I talked about USA. I don't know exactly how much would supra cost to import here, but I'm sure that fees/taxes would be over 50% of car's value. There are no restrictions based on engine's power or restrictions on how much you can tune your car in Lithuania. If you have enough money you can buy any car you want here, but most people have no chance to become richer even if they put much of their efforts. This is because of unscrupulous people sitting in the government. That's really sad.
But I hope to reach something more in USA than in Lithuania, cos in six months I'm leaving my native country and going to America. Our family just won Green Card, which allows us to become legal residents of USA. In this case I hope to creat a brighter future for myself.
Guys, wish me good luck
Cheers
Nice Supras site:
http://www.t04r.com/
nothing comes close to the supra.. its the greatest car ever.
i've seen 4 in my life, and all of them were maxed to the teeth. bodykits, exhaust, everything was perfect. i just want to own one. along with a 350z and 03 tiburon
yea supras are really good at take offs from 65 etc, but they are very easily moddable, its probably one of the easiest cars to pick up horsepower in for not much money
Some guy in my history class back in highschool had one... wicked machine..... He was crazy though, he also wanted to have his entire car chromed....... crazy kid he was.
