Sony MDR300 Headphones...

im thinking of getting this one since it is only 30 bucks at Best Buy. Is it any good for just personal use like cd player or PC use. looks nice too.

They do the job, but I still don't recommend that model (nor do I recommend any of the MDR-V### series headphones) for serious music listening. Most of those V### series headphones have muddy, overboosted mid-bass and upper-bass response -- and that muddy bass tends to run all over the mids and highs, as well. And the MDR-V300's are flimsy as @#$%, to boot. You can do much better than the V300, even at a lower price.

Just go for what u think sounds best not other peoples opinion because people have different taste.

i have them. they are very good, i think. better sound then my v500. the only think is, that they break faster.
